Great room. Beautiful location Quite expensive which I was fine with but then you also had to pay for parking and after you've paid, if you go out there's no guarantee of a carpark still being available when you get back. The staff in the fitness/pool area were extremely rude. Female staff member was sitting on the desk flirting with the male staff member and our presence was clearly unwanted

The staff were welcoming and helpful. My room was upgraded as they noticed that my grandson was travelling with me and gave him a ‘goodie’ bag which he was delighted with. That I didn’t stay there longer! Absolutely nothing.

Location great near train station, clean and spacious double room to myself, friendly staff Liked everything, perhaps a long walk and 2 lifts to my room as a woman on my own a little concerning

Great location, dog friendly, spacious room I felt the sidings could do with a bit of TLC, bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. We stayed last year in the main hotel and would definitely stay in the main hotel again rather than the sidings.

The staff and the cleanliness but the showers in the room only the little shower worked not the bog over head one Shower not working and the fact it wasn't advertised about it having a swimming pool

The property was right next to the train station so perfectly located. We selected a less expensive room and ended up on the third floor that was very warm. The vendor did open which helped. We could not get sufficient cooling from the air conditioning but did not report the issue . Other than the room being warm, it was a great room.. clean, comfortable and quiet. All the staff we dealt with were great.

Location. Interior staircase. Bedroom was very small. Dark. . Bad lighting. Smelt of damp. Told the hotel staff. Not acceptable so moved to another room a little better but put. Us off staying in the hotel to use facilities or stay for food. Not the cleanest of hotels and. Won't be going back. Which was very disappointing as it was for our silver wedding anniversary and for what we paid was very Underwhelming

Breakfast was very good. Good variety of hot food and cold. Would have liked a plain Greek yoghurt and more fruit choice.
-
Location Car Parking extortionate, Room size too small and too far from reception, No flexibility for earlier breakfast when a coach party was already being served at the time
-
Friendly staff, amazing location next to station, within minutes of the bridges to town. Poor WiFi signal for tv

The buffet breakfast was excellent in Peachey’s. The garden room is really lovely. Loved the easy access around the hotel. Reception staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Service for the evening meal in Peachey’s. The staff were not efficient and had no initiative. They weren’t keeping an eye on the customers whether waiting or needing their table cleared and the service was very slow. This put us off and we ate out of the hotel after this. There was an awful lot of noise on the first floor particularly regarding the trolley’s being wheeled to and fro for room service, this was not so bad in the early evening but after 11:00 at night it was rattling badly and on one night there was a loud crash as though the trolley had overturned. You can also hear the movement of those above on the second floor when they’re walking across their room but to. A certain extent this has to be expected due to the age of the building and very high ceilings.
