Location was great once parked everywhere nearby by foot Breakfast very nice Road was closed making parking difficult no advance notice of this , ended up paying £40 for less than 24hrs parking Roof terrace apparently had to be pre-booked which was a shame as the main reason of picking this hotel , still waiting for a table !

Parking .. they said they had parking and then we were told it’s£40 and a 2min walk. If you was there for 5 days it would cost £200 for parking!! I wouldn’t visit York again the city wants people but have parking costs to high.

So handy to the train station and then not far to the town and York Minster, just across the bridge, and bus service outside as well. Love the Malmaison quirky, back to front taps and colours and TV hidden behind a picture. The breakfast was amazing as well !! Leaving !!!

Amazing staff in the restaurant very tentative and quick service. Towels didn’t smell fresh Lights difficult to work out in the bedroom Building work going on but nothing mentioned upon booking
