Good Location, cheap and easy check in, staff were friendly I slept in a hoodie and when I woke up, there were some stains on my hoodie on the side I slept the night before. I’m really not sure what the marks are and I couldn’t wipe them off (picture) but they washed off on a high heat wash luckily.

Everything was good, I have stayed in worst hotels. Expectations were not high when I booked, but the Staff, Location, Breakfast was as good as any 3 star hotel

The first lady I met helped me settle in well and she was good in terms of explaining what's what. Because the kitchen isn't self catering in terms of cooking your own food, the same lady who helped me settle in went beyond the call of duty and cooked a rice packet meal I had with me. And the place was clean and tidy. I didn't have enough money in my bank to get breakfast but I had cash. I had to go over to the post office to put some in. Instead of accommodating me she sent me to an outside cafe. I don't agree with the only option to pay with a debit card rather than having an option to pay cash. And I understand that they can't provide a free car park because they aren't in the time and place to provide one but I would have liked to park for free rather than have to pay a fortune in outside carparks.

It`s close to the train station or bus stop (FlixBus) and to the main areas. You can go walking to the downtown, there`s a supermarket very close. There is no kitchen but they offer hot water and there is a common place to have your lunch/dinner. Very nice place.

The history of the building Unfortunately, 1 staff member let down the other staff. Who was aware I had been in hospital for 2 nights (unplanned in the A&E department, due to have meningitis). When this person was made aware there response was only that I had to make sure the bags were packed for the next people staying in the room. As I was still hooked up to the hart monitor and on a drip for antibiotics. Now the hospital let me out at 4am, same day of check out. I had my nap sleep still managed to check out for 11. Now when checking out, she said how are you. Now my mum's response was please don't be false. Which is a fair enough response concerning her last interaction, she didn't even ask how i was. Now the woman started shouting and screaming, that she had been insluted and that she had the right to reject guess. To which I said we did nothing wrong, we are just checking out. She then was still shouting, about how we were rude. We then apologised to the other guests who were sat down. We were trying to leave for our own safety, but this person who was the only member of staff. Actually started following us, screaming and shouting about how we were rude to her. At which point I asked her, to lower her voice as her shouting was giving me a headache and I had only gotten out of hospital at 4am that morning. To which she got even louder and pointing her finger in my face 'I don't care'. Please note I new then it was pointless trying to talk to this person as they weren't going to take anything in and when we made it to the exit door. She actually stopped us and said just so you know karma goes around, so all the bad things you have done will come on you (I genuinely don't know what she was on about, maybe the shower i took at 9am was to loud for someone). Sonna (apologies if I misspelled your name). The room I booked, was the one with double and single. The single bed not dressed. Only 4 pillows, I request a few more however wasn't given them.

The property is in a great location. Very close to the train station, local shops, pubs, bakery etc everything was within walking distance for us The room had one window that did not have any curtain, blind or shutter. This meant our children woke very early! The other shutter had gaps anyway which let a lot of light through. The pillows were lumpy and hard, really needed to be replaced. The bed creaked. The courtyard was below our window.. group of men up until 2am talking and laughing which meant we only slept 2am until the sun lit our room at 5.45am. The courtyard is meant to be closed at 11pm but staff did t seem to enforce this so we were disturbed most of the night.

In a great location plenty of pubs around it plus great chippy opposite. WE were on 2nd floor and we are all pensioners but it was a very quiet room.
