Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square

Great location near time square. The check in process was easy and service was great.

Great location to subway access. Many places close by for food and drink. Desk staff very helpful.

Front Desk staff was very helpful in storing our luggage before check in and after check out since our flights were not during the reservation hours. Only issue we had was the bathroom door was very heavy and my child needed help sliding it open and close. Great location at the center, easy to get around.

Elevator broke down we hiked up one night. Was an ongoing problem. I use a cpap at night power went out twice in 3 nights didn't get a great sleep. Staff was great. Room were good size and clean

Only complaint would be the ONLY ice machine is in the basement, and of course our room was on the 33 floor (top floor) easy elevator ride but still in inconvenient. But the stay was GREAT!

I’m loyal to Marriott and found this location to unfortunately be below average. The air conditioning was not efficient during a sweltering summer and one -maybe two- elevators worked. The property certainly needs upgrading. The staff was polite and did what they could considering the circumstances. I’d check on the status of hotel repairs before booking.

The facility needs a complete overall. Elevators were constantly out of order and water continuously leaking in the bathroom. Lastly, to make things worst, the level of hygiene in the room was completely disappointing. The staff lacked attention to details. Emptying the trash can was the only job done by housekeeping. Elevators were out of order and people had to walk up all the way to their rooms but no assistance let alone attention was given by the staff. Furthermore, while the hotel is situated in a very convenient location, drug dealers were always gathering in the evening hours only a few steps away from the hotel but no staff were present at the hotel entrance all day.

Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM, but I arrived at 4:20 PM and was still told that I needed to wait another 20 minutes for my room. I agreed to wait, but more than 30 minutes passed and no one contacted me, even though the room was apparently ready. I had to go back to the front desk myself and ask about it. There was also an issue with the parking. I saw a discounted parking rate displayed at the front desk, but when I asked about it, the staff member initially told me it wasn't available. Only after realizing that I had already seen the posted discount did he change his answer and say it was available. At that point, I decided to use valet parking instead. Unfortunately, the poor communication continued at checkout. I was told that the staff would call me when my car was brought around, but they never called. Once again, I had to wait and follow up myself. Overall, the lack of communication, courtesy, and professionalism made this a very frustrating stay. I expected much better treatment from a hotel, especially considering the price. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

Location 2 min by foot (really) from Times Square is fantastic. Room was good, but dark, as the hotel is stuck between 2 other buildings. Staff was nice. Gym is good. Cheese Omelette for breakfast was horrible. Overall good value for 200 USD, including breakfast, if you get this deal I got. Which is a good price for this location in August. Elevators were doing some funny things, and one broke down due to a storm, but apparently they are going to be renovated next year....

Jazelle Peace at the front desk was incredibly helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. She works extremely hard to assist hotel guests and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels taken care of. Her positive attitude, attentiveness, and willingness to help really stood out. She is a great representative of the hotel and definitely deserves recognition for the exceptional service she provides.
