JW Marriott Anaheim Resort

The showerhead had a horrifying water-saving mechanism that barely released any hot water. I care about the environment, but that was next-level unusable bad. Also they are stingy about bath towels in the room.

I read the fee info before arriving, so I knew there’d be a nightly resort fee and deposit for incidentals (which I still have not received back). Fees are taxed; everything is taxed. Was told that valet service is the only option for parking and that it was $69 (I believe) per night (plus tax). The room was nice and seemed clean, but the towels were weirdly damp and there was no lid for the ice bucket. We had a great view and it was quiet for the most part. We went to the rooftop bar to see the fireworks, but we were looked at like we were ruffians off the street. We didn’t have a reservation (why is this necessary for a bar?) but the man reluctantly seated us. We sat there for literally 30 minutes and were not acknowledged once. We were in the middle of the bar, not in a hidden corner, and servers kept walking by and would not make eye contact. We left, fireworks be damned. Went to a music festival the next day and was BEYOND exhausted. I was grateful for the big tub (luckily I had brought my own soap because there wasn’t any). Got a bank notification for a random charge that night and it turned out I was double charged by the valet. Staff took care of it. Note: the “marketplace” is just a mini Starbucks with very few selections.

Everything was perfect!

Staff are super kind and helpful. Cleaning staff were exceptional. Be careful of hidden fees or ask for clarification for $20 vouchers which can catch you if you don’t know the refresh times. Shower head was not great. But there was a super cute note and macarons given for our “mini honeymoon”. So 100% will stay here again in the future.

Property overall is not well maintained, you get very mediocre breakfast buffet at Toca Ferra for $50/person. Rooms are old and not very well maintained for a JW Marriott. Valet staff is very good though.

Beautiful hotel. 5 year old walked to Disney twice. Very hot in afternoon so closed shuttle drop off is nice. Lots of good food options close by outside of hotel. Cons: no hot tub

Super easy walk to Disney. The staff showed us the way from the lobby over the garden walk. Everyone was super friendly and the hotel was very clean and nice. We got a surprised chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary.

I loved how close it was to Disneyland. I also really appreciated the fact that I was able to get "late check-out", as that made my day a lot easier. Finally, I loved that there were a lot of really great restaurants (Cheesecake Factory, P. F. Chang, California Pizza Kitchen), very close to the hotel. Nothing

The accomodations at the JW were very nice: room was comfortable and the hotel was great overall (starbucks downstairs was very convenient). However, I was not impressed by the food quality and variety at the hotel. The rooftop bar was pretty cool and it was convenient if you want to walk around the Garden Walk area.

Disneyland and the convention center. Our family enjoyed the garden walk that is next door to the hotel. We appreciated the professionalism and assistance provided by all staff. The rooms were clean and well kept with modern touches. The beds were very comfortable. The in-room dining was prompt, accommodating of dietary preferences, ample sizing to share with your party. We loved this property and hope to come back again soon. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
