Very good experience, highly recommended.

The parking lot was farther than expected but within a walking distance.

Staff was great, very informative and happy to help. The made-to-order breakfast each morning was a nice addition. We liked the proximity to free parking and the local bus line. Air conditioner was very loud and the fan wobbled so badly we thought it may fall off the ceiling. The elevator was down while we were there so everyone was staying on the same floor. If they were out on their balcony it felt like they were talking right beside you.

Great place and staff are nice

The staff members were great, helpful and courteous. Having the elevator out of order meant much stair climbing. Trying to bring luggage down 3 flights of stairs was very difficult. No one offered to help when we arrived. I did call when we were leaving for assistance. The coffee maker in the lobby was generally not working well, requiring staff assistance.

The best thing about this place is the great location right on the ski hill, walkable to restaurants and shopping. The next best thing was the breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice and made-to-order avocado toast with eggs was unexpected and delicious. The property itself is worn down and in need of some TLC. The elevator was out of order and the hot tub was tepid at best. The woman at the desk at check-in was rude but the one at checkout the next day was friendly. The only pillow option was thick foam. Most places offer both foam and feather these days. Overall it met our needs for a one night stopover.

We stayed one night at Mountain Chalet Snowmass and were very disappointed with the property. The hotel is extremely dated and run-down, and the condition was considerably worse than we expected based on the online presentation. The elevator was out of service, and the cable television in our room was not working. The room and overall property also appeared much more worn and outdated than we expected. I understand that this is an older property, but the issue isn’t simply that it’s old. The overall condition and the lack of functioning amenities made for a very disappointing stay. We contacted Expedia about the issues, and after explaining the situation, Expedia offered us only a $50 credit. I would recommend looking carefully at recent reviews and photos before booking this property.

We enjoyed our summer time stay at Mountain Chalet Snowmass. The employees were all helpful and friendly, especially the breakfast staff. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable.

The elevator was out for a month and there was no conversation or repair scheduled. The all inclusive on was not. They wanted$15.00 dollars a day for parking. The option was more than 200 a day to park in public parking. The air condition was out of order. Required to repair was x2. This building was in poor condition. The all condition breakfast was not good. They also said we should make are reservation not thro Expedia .

Outdated no elevator

location is perfect and close to the bus stand, market and gondola ride. I don't have anything to complain and this is my second stay.

What a lovely place to stay we travelled with our dog and grandson… our room was right in the dog area he so enjoyed it.. our grandson was playing baseball in a tournament the breakfast was amazing it started his day off right.. thank you so much for a great stay

Breakfast was an added value. That morning staff was very pleasant. Elevator was down. Rooms were old and worn. Bathroom was very outdated.

I was not impressed at check in or check out. The room was extremely dated and the couch had torn and stained upholstery. Window unit for AC. Carpet throughout room feels very unkept, certainly isn't thoroughly cleaned between guests. TV remote was sticky. Pool is not inviting. Overall this hotel should be a much lower nightly cost.
