Courtyard by Marriott Providence Downtown

Great views

There's no free overnight parking which was listed as an included amenity in the booking page, the hotel charged us $34 per night. The location is great for daytime activities, but the surrounding streets were incredibly noisy by street car racing from 1AM to 5AM which made for very lousy sleep. Come on PVD, can't you do better?

Exceptional

The checking took at least 15min because we had to change computers twice just to get the keys and parking pass. This location is downtown near the highway but the windows are not insulated as you expect. Even on the 5th floor you get all the noise of the tracficc which it doesn't slowdown until like 2am. Our checking was at 12pm and around 11:20 a housekeeper just opened our door. How they don't know who is in and whobis out. Then around 2:30am someone knock on our door and then said wrong door. When we told this to front desk. She was not concerned, she said that their system was down and they were checking which rooms were empty (at 2 AM) she said some people got that like that was a reason for us to accept that. Then y he TV turn on around the same time. So we got woken up for the 2nd time. So all this technology just gave us a bad night sleep. And at the end of the day that's all we want from a hotel.

This was the best Courtyard Marriott I’ve ever stayed in!! Super clean, the bistro food was awesome like a high-end restaurant with a family feel. Definitely staying here again!

Not bad experience

Conveniently located in downtown and has better pricing for overnight parking than others. The room was great. Bed was comfy and shower items were good. Would stay here again.

Convenient location right near Providence Place that took only a short walk. Very clean and comfortable room, and the staff were friendly! We wish there had been a pool on site!
