The Paramount Hotel

It was a very nice room, my only quibble was the lack of noted late night vending my first two nights. Only other thing is that you should definitely use the provided shower mat, I managed to slip and am paying for a wall tile repair; ENTIRELY MY FAULT.

Room was beautifully maintained and the Staff was excellent help for navigating the city and getting new ideas on places to visit for my proposal! Rapid response time to any questions I had helped wonderfully and I appreciate them all dearly

The bathroom tub had a brown film along the bottom that wiped out, and a hair on the floor. Overall, our room was nice.

Always love staying at The Paramount Hotel when visiting downtown Portland. This hotel is in such a convenient location to most places we are visiting. Rooms are spacious and well kept. They also offer late night drinks and food at the bar located inside the building as well as a breakfast at the dining room restaurant.

I love location of the hotel as it allowed me to walk to all the best places to visit in Portland. The staff were all helpful, friendly and accommodating to my needs. I will definitely stay there again.

Very nice stay in a beautiful hotel. We enjoyed the on site restaurant and bar. Only drawback was some noise. There was a “party crew” in the neighboring room with significant noise well into the early morning. That was unpleasant for our family. Other than that, it was a lovely hotel and stay.

The staff were really kind and helpful. And the property was well maintained!!

Since the hotel sells food in the lobby which requires a microwave, it would be helpful to have a microwave in the room or lobby.

The room I checked into was dirty! They switched me to another room that wasn't much better. The bathroom floors, shower and walls by the bed were gross. The staff was very helpful to the question asked. All door staff were wonderful. The restaurant was closed my my first night stay. The lounge food was good and Emma was Amazing! I was very disappointed with the hotel, I will not be returning nor will I recommend to anyone. I will stay at the wonderful hotel I normally stay at. I was recommended to stay at this hotel.

The staff was amazing, the room was smaller than expected but wasn’t enough for us to dislike or complain. We were truly only in there to sleep and get ready. We ate at one of the restaurants and it was pretty good. The lobby was nice while we waited after arriving earlier than normal.

Great location and staff! First hotel I've been to in 20 years with NO coffee maker or microwave in the room! There was a coffee station in the lobby, which was not on my dance card at 6 am in pajamas. The small refrigerator didn't keep my yogurt or cheese cold. So, I didn't bring back dinner leftovers to snack on, when there was no microwave. Room cleaning every other day, which makes sense. Truly, the staff was lovely, but likely won't stay there next time due to the coffee thing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us check-in an hour early. The room was clean. We would definitely stay again.

We had an issue with our room being clean when we weren’t checked out yet. Because of that, too expensive items were missing and we were unable to check the room ourselves. The staff was friendly for the loss is great because it was a personal item..

Before checking in, I mentioned that I had worked in executive housekeeping and was extremely particular about cleanliness. They still assigned me room 309, which was visibly dirty from the moment I walked in. There were fingerprints all over the mirrors and long black hairs throughout the shower, bathroom sink, and toilet area. This was not a matter of the room being slightly outdated; it had plainly not been cleaned properly. I immediately returned to the front desk and asked for another room. Nothing complimentary was offered, so I paid to upgrade to what I was told would be a corner suite. The room I received, 608, was not a corner suite—it was directly between two other rooms in the middle of the hallway. At that point, I asked for a refund so I could leave. I was told that although they could process it, the money might take up to ten days to return to my card. That is not a realistic solution for someone traveling at the last minute who needs those funds to book another hotel. I located another property, but it also required a $75 deposit that would be charged to my card and could take days to be returned. Financially, I was stuck. I did not remain due to remedy; I remained because I could not afford the loss.
