The first room we got assigned reeked of pot when we walked in. We went back to the desk and the staff gave us a new room which turned out fine. The restaurant was great for breakfast and the servers were very helpful. The valet seemed a bit sketchy but it turned out Ok.

Very dated rooms and underwhelming. Staff outside didn’t even great us or ask if we needed help. Wouldn’t stay again.

Really enjoyed my stay here! Comfortable rooms in a great location. Warm and friendly folks on the staff! Nice bar and restaurant. I met up with a group of friends here and we all enjoyed it. Thanks Dossier!

The grout in the showers could’ve been redone. I realize it is in the city, but parking was extra and super expensive. The staff was great tho and very helpful

The hotel was well maintained, beautiful, staff was helpful. It was very clean. I would definitely recommend.

Everything was nice , Valet parking too expensive.

Convenient location, wonderful food at the Alder Bistro, very comfortable room and bathroom. The one problem was the valet parking. It took us so long to get our car that we missed most of an event we were scheduled to attend.

Enjoyed our stay. Sorry for forgetting the names, the gentleman working the valet (taller, some tattoos, worked in construction before :) was very pleasant and a was our first impression with the hotel staff. The. We met I think with I think Luke at the front desk (I think long dark hair). He was very pleasant and helpful with offer tips and information about the hotel and places around the city. Those two guys made us feel welcomed on our arrival. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. On our first stay, the toilet in our room was leaking badly. Every time we flushed, water would come out from the floor around the toilet, making it impossible and uncomfortable to use. We reported the issue, but unfortunately, we received very little help or support from the hotel staff. Being left in that situation was extremely frustrating. We stayed at the property again two days later and specifically requested two queen beds and one sofa bed because we were traveling with our son. Unfortunately, the room did not have the sleeping arrangements we had requested, and when we asked if an extra bed could be provided, we were simply told, “Sorry, we don't have any.” As a result, our son had a very difficult time sleeping. The biggest disappointment was the lack of customer service and willingness to help resolve these issues. Problems can happen at any hotel, but what matters is how the staff responds to them and in our experience, there was very little assistance. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and based on our stay, I would not recommend this property to others unless management takes these concerns seriously and improves both the room maintenance and customer service. Very disappointing experience. Varun

Location was very central and staff went above and beyond to assist with even the silliest of requests (I needed a base for flowers I had purchased and they immediately found a solution for me). The rooms were huge and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location

The best part about this hotel was the staff. The room had towels that were torn, like in tatters. The shower amenities were empty. The location of the hotel however is excellent.
-
Great location in downtown. Nicely decorated. Could use a good dusting.

We came for a girls weekend and had a great stay here. The staff were welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were good sized, with spacious bathrooms and comfortable showers. Location is perfect for exploring Portland shopping, markets, museum, and events in the parks. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

One of our favorite hotels in PDX. Close to everything. Nice accommodation, quiet and relaxing. Recommended.

Room was just fine, a couple of minor issues but location was good
-
I like it. Its easy access convenience, except hard to find parking. Validate parking is 60 per night. Base on the side of your vehicle.
-
excellent location, close to all the things -concerts in Pioneer square, local tram and bus rides, follow the crows, food selection at the restaurant could be better especially the late night version
