SpringHill Suites by Marriott Norfolk Virginia Beach

The room was clean. The staff was professional and friendly. The hot breakfast was handled well even with a full capacity of guests for the weekend due to an opening season football game. I would stay again. One suggestion for improvement: remove the carpet altogether and use laminate flooring. The tidewater area is moist in climate. The damp odor of the carpet is noticeable even though the facility is clean and conveniently located just off of the interstate.

They lost our reservation and we had to make another at a different hotel.

The breakfast attendees The room was so dirty and dusty. I literally got an air purifier for the quality. Hair all over the couch and shower. Microwave and fridge were nasty. I have a toddler and after wiping everything down the rag was brown. Pool area was also unclean.

Stayed overnight after a concert —slept well

Overall, it was a nice hotel. Our bathroom had a dirty towel on the back of the door and there were strands of long black hair on the shampoo bottle and behind the toilet. The shampoo and conditioner were empty. I told the front desk and they took care of it quickly. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and great breakfast.

The pool was very very small and there were hair balls all over the place on that floor. However, the room, staff, and breakfast were all wonderful. Very impressed with the staff and the room for a single night. Accommodating and kind to my 6 kids.
