The Penguin Hotel

Room is very small. Those pictures online do not match what we saw. It was a clean place and the bed was comfortable and spacious with lots of pillows. It is located across the street from the beach. Many fun and accessible restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast and pool are located in another hotel ( sister hotel) located behind this one, which is accessed by walking through a hallway between buildings.

I really nice little boutique hotel right on Miami Beach across the street from the water. The breakfast is really nice and then not very expensive. Reef State here at number of times and would go back again.

The receptionist was so nice and gave us fully attention!

Helpful staff

We had 2 rooms for a party of 7. And they were able to accommodate 2 rooms closed to each other. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Location and price were amazing! Front desk was very helpful and friendly. The beach right across from us. The pool at the sister property was easily accessible. The only small issue I had was the AC being directly next to the bed but we dealt with just fine. We would definitely stay there again.

The location of this hotel was unbeatable. It was so close to so many amazing restaurants, a 3 minute walk from the beach, and close to everything convenient I could need. The breakfast I purchased for the mornings was worth every penny, it was unbelievably convenient, and also very tasty. The rooftop pool was such a nice touch, super safe, clean, and refreshing. I had such an amazing experience and I would recommend this location for any girlfriend group for an affordable, and worthwhile experience.

It was a nice hotel. Very beachy feel , small rooms but clean. Perfect walking distance to beach or shops/restaurants

He was very sweet and we enjoyed speaking with him. The room was clean. We requested fresh up daily and housekeeping came every day. We stayed in a room with a terrace and ocean view. Views were breathtaking. If we ever come back to South Beach Miami, this is the hotel for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The room was clean and the staff was nice. There’s a air-conditioning unit in each room. You can control the temperature. The beaches across the street you can see the ocean on top of the rooftop pool. However, the pool is behind the hotel at another hotel real quick to get to though. there’s also a resort fee is not included in the nightly price. breakfast is also additional also at a different hotel behind the hotel.

A/C working perfectly, the staff was friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean

small room but very clean. the wall mirror is a plus. i did not like that there are no microwaves to use. one staff let me use the one behind the desk, but another said i would blow all the power. There is no ocean front view. also, u have to go to another hotel for breakfast and the pool access. which was false advertising. It was great to escape the Miami heat and minutes away from beach and all the fun.

Eduardo was super helpful on reception. Good place, pool in duster hotel a wee walk but good pool with good shade provided

Staff was great

Everyone at the front desk was very welcoming, informative and friendly. They all went out of their way to get us info. Alejandro was also very helpful and informative with the tours and information of the area.
