President Hotel

Unfortunately, our room was very disappointing and did not feel like the “luxury” room we were expecting. There was a large ice machine right next to our room that made an extremely loud noise every time someone used it or took ice. On top of that, the room service area was directly next to our room, and the staff would have loud conversations early in the morning. We could hear almost everything inside our room, which made it very difficult to sleep and relax. When we checked in, no one explained that we had a welcome drink included. We were simply given a receipt/paper, without any explanation of the benefits or amenities included with our stay. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of response from the staff. On our first night, we reported that the TV in our room was not working. We were told someone would come and fix it. We asked again two or three times during our three-night stay, and unfortunately, no one ever came to help or even properly follow up. Housekeeping was another major issue. We repeatedly requested that our room be cleaned and that our trash be taken out, but nothing was done. After asking approximately six times, our trash was finally removed on the night before we left.

The photographs make you think it is really a great place. But, on a scale from one to ten, it is a (3). Take my word for it. The cheap prices are exactly that a cheap and shabby hotel. Don't even think about it cause you may get stuck in the old time elevator that comes with these rooms. And the food is really not good.

Recently renovated, clean, bright, super “Miami”. Rooftop pool, yummy food for breakfast, free cocktail, and fabulous location. Staff is very helpful and seem to actually enjoy working at the hotel. Mikael was great, I felt the hospitality for sure. Valet parking, too.

Perfect location and a great breakfast! The lobby is beautiful, and the staff are quick, friendly, and efficient. The rooms and lobby were very clean. The welcome drink was delicious and a great touch. The pool was quite small, and the room could use some TLC. However, considering the location and price, I think overall it was a great stay and a good value.

Nothing. Henry at the reception was always friendly and willing to help me. Extremely upsetting experience, I would not recommend this hotel. During my stay the housekeeping serviced my room while I was out. When I returned, I noticed that my Swatch watch was no longer where I had left it. I was rushing to a lunch reservation and did not have enough time to thoroughly search the room at that moment. The next day, I discovered a significant termite problem in the room. The hotel ultimately arranged to relocate me at the Penguin Hotel. The experience became even worse after I was relocated. The reception I received from the front desk was hostile and extremely uncomfortable. Multiple members of the reception staff appeared to know details about my complaint, which made me seriously question whether our situation had been handled with appropriate discretion and confidentiality.One front desk employee in particular, Madison, was exceptionally rude. During my interactions, I felt that I was being treated as though I were dishonest rather than a guest reporting a serious concern. I also became aware that details of my situation were being discussed among members of the reception team. The way I was treated left me feeling humiliated, unwelcome, and judged. Management's response regarding the missing watch was essentially that they trusted their employees and did not believe an employee would jeopardize their immigration status. I found that response completely inappropriate and dismissive. Trusting employees does not eliminate the responsibility to take a guest's report seriously and properly investigate what happened. Hotels are not defined only by what goes wrong. They are defined by how they respond when something does go wrong. Based on my experience, the handling of this situation showed a serious lack of accountability, empathy, discretion, and professionalism. I would not stay at this property again, and I cannot recommend it to other travelers.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. The hotel was great, 1 min walk to the beach and Ocean drive, nice rooms and good air conditioning, the lobby was very cozy with a nice music. Daily breakfast and water bottles were provided too which made our life easier. Would highly recommend this hotel
