The hotel and amenities are fine. Wayfinding isn’t easy.

The staff were very friendly and made check in very efficient. There is a Starbucks, ABC Store, and an arcade (as well as gift shops) on the ground floor which makes it very convenient to find things you may need. The decor is beautiful and the rooms are very clean, modern with upgraded furniture and bathroom fixtures. I would DEFINITELY stay here again

I loved it, first time ever in Hawaii with my girlfriend and they made the hotel dreamy. Price is expensive but you get what you pay for

there was some maintenance work and painting going on at the property while I was there. It only bothered me on the final day that I was there, but these things are the price you pay to maintain a beautiful property while people are still living there.

Unfortunately, our recent stay in Hawaii was not the experience we’ve come to expect from Marriott, especially as Bonvoy members. We specifically booked a room with a balcony so we could relax, enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian breeze, and take in the view. Instead, we were woken up very early each morning by construction work, including a scissor lift and workers who were positioned directly outside our room and looking directly into it. We had essentially no privacy and had to keep our blinds closed most of the time, which completely defeated the purpose of having a balcony and enjoying the surroundings. When I brought the issue to the front desk, I was told there was nothing they could do and that they were sorry no one had informed us about the construction. I found that response extremely disappointing. Had we been told in advance that construction would be taking place directly outside our room and that our privacy would be significantly impacted, we could have made a different room choice or reconsidered our stay. This was especially disappointing because we were celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday and had traveled to Hawaii hoping for some much-needed rest, relaxation, and a special experience. Instead, we were dealing with early-morning construction and having to keep our blinds closed for privacy. Totally enjoyed our stay. Loved the easy walk to beach and pools. Rooms well cleaned by staff and friendly. We arrived late on Sunday night like 10. Check in staff tcould of taken a few minutes to review the free amenities that are offered to us. We found out by asking everyday different people.

Our cleaning staff was amazing. If we needed anything she got it for us immediately.

I paid extra for a ocean view room and didn’t get one. They said they don’t have ocean view when they do. Was trying to sleep in to adjust to time difference. Staff called me at 8am waking me up to see how my stay was second day. Front desk staff were extremely rude.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional.

Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 25th floor with a partial ocean view. The hotel is located a block from the beach. It’s a very easy walk and I felt extremely safe staying at this hotel.

The hotel was top notch. It was clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful with all of our needs. The sunset views from our room were incredible! The best part was that Waikiki beach is right across the street!! I will definitely be coming back to the Marriot when I vacation here in the future.

The pool and nearby Queensbreak restaurant was very enjoyable. However our balcony was not accessible due to construction, which occurred daily from 9-4:00pm and was very loud! We were not informed of the construction when we booked the room, and our charge was for an ocean view balcony room. We also experienced a power outage for over 6 hours one night, with no AC and only light was from a glow stick given to us by the hotel. Very disappointing overall.
