Holiday Inn Express Waikiki by IHG

Walking distance to the beach and located near shops and restaurants. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were received a room upgrade so we could be on the same floor as the rest of our party. The rooms and hotel were clean and in good condition. They serve a decent breakfast, however, elevators do get busy during peak hours. Parking is a challenge and probably the most stressful part of the trip. We would stay again :)

The rooms were nice and clean. The pool was nice and great view from the pool area. Breakfast was great.

When booking with Expedia they didn’t include resort fees and room deposits. It was good thing I had enough to cover when checking in otherwise it would have been a waste. Always check to make sure when booking that if there isn’t any resort fees or deposit included you will need to make sure you have it available upon check in. Pool was amazing and the jacuzzi was absolutely perfect. Towels could have been more stocked thru the day and the bathroom in the pool area cleaned more frequently. I had gone in several times and it was filthy. Room was decent but water pressure sucks. All in all 9 out of 10.

The air conditioner was extremely loud and blew right on you and the TV didn’t always work and the sink was as clogged. It was ok nice breakfast snd staff nice.

He room was super clean and organized staff was amazing very friendly breakfast was super good with different food options very delicious. Over all my family and me will stay here again.

The hotel was probably at its best for what it was. We arrived on the day of a Hurricane and the power was out which left us on generator power with only 2 working elevators. Check-In process took 2 hours long. Once we dropped off our bags in the room we had to leave because of how hot it was in the room, we then grabbed dinner and returned in the rain to a hotel that had absolutely zero power and no working elevators. Our room was located on the 34th floor which made it hell to climb the stairs, especially with a 3 year old who gave up after 10 floors. Cold showers all around late that night for all of us since the power didn't come on. In the middle of the night, the power finally came back on which gave us relief. Continued issues with the elevators continued along with the parking garage. Crazy that the daily amenities fee was $33/day and parking was $49/day. None of these were reduced/ waived after the amount of issues from the first day. Breakfast was decent, but they could change it up a bit more than every other day... otherwise get use to eating the same foods. The one true blessing was the lady that did our housekeeping... she was sweet, older lady and did an amazing job everyday! Overall the hotel was exactly what we paid for... cheap and after all the amenities and parking fees, it has me thinking about looking around at a nicer resort next time, especially due to the lack of no parking at the hotel. Decent place to stay if you're trying to save a few bucks.

The breakfast was very good, there were a lot of options. We were offered fresh towels everyday and the staff were super helpful. I would stay here again!

Nice and clean room The people next to me were a bunch of teenager. They were loud and kept slamming g the door. The guard told them to stop which they did but then they kept going in and out the entire night, so I couldn’t really rest well

The room was too small and no closet to put or hang your clothes they closet hanging clothe are all in the same place where the coffee maker, microwave and fridge are on the same location i didn’t hang our clothes i just folded it and hang it in the bathroom if needed bcoz the room was too small. I am still coming to this hotel the friendly staff and the breakfast buffet are very good, you need to be early because always crowded to their dining area.
