Clean room. Steps from beach. Walking distance to shops & restaurants! A perfect stay for beach vacation.

Great property in an excellent location! Family friendly, modern and clean. Booked a one night stay at the last minute. Our studio was perfect. There are restaurants right next door where you can dine in or get take out. The parking is also very convenient and there is a shuttle. My 12 yo son loved the pool. They even play soothing Hawaiian music. It really felt like we were at a resort. We will be back!

The beach chairs can be more comfortable and the lack of balcony makes the property feel more like a motel. I would definitely stay here again though as i had a great time.

Great property w location to the beach! The staff bringing the chairs and umbrellas are amazing and the rooms were clean and the kitchenettes nice. Will def come back!

The only downside was the balcony, which felt more like a motel than a hotel and took away from the overall atmosphere. I was also disappointed with the beach amenities. The beach chairs were basic upright chairs instead of comfortable lounge chairs, making it difficult to truly relax by the ocean. The towels also seemed inexpensive and were stained, which wasn’t what I expected. That said, I want to give a special thank you to Griselda, who truly made our stay even more enjoyable. She was incredibly friendly, hardworking, and took great pride in her work. Every time we returned to our room, it was spotless and beautifully cleaned. Her attention to detail and warm attitude did not go unnoticed. Mahalo is very fortunate to have someone like Griselda on their team. Overall, Mahalo is a clean, modern hotel in a great location. With a few improvements to the beach amenities and balcony experience, it would easily earn five stars.

The beach service is so convenient and they work so hard to make everything easy for you. I love the Mahalo and it’s the only place my family will stay.

Convenient location to the beach with complimentary beach tags, shaded parking on site, amazing pool, clean updated rooms with fridge, microwave, stove etc. and free shuttle that takes you anywhere on the island. Staff was friendly and helpful - will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very nice. The beds are a little too soft for our taste. Rooms are clean. Property was clean. The beach passes are nice. There was always parking when we would come back from outings. Staff were very pleasant. We didn’t use the bike rental or the shuttle amenities but the bikes appeared well maintained, and the shuttle looked nice on the outside. We will very likely stay again. The pool was nice only 4 feet deep. The neighboring restaurant the Sea Salt has very good food. The other neighboring restaurant has live music that we could listen to from our room.

Super clean! So close to the beach and most attractions of the area were walkable! Will definitely be back!

Rooms and property are very clean. The pool area is excellent. Perfect location right off the beach and walking distance to Congress Hall and all other area shops and restaurants. The beach tags were great to have and use also! Very convenient to have chairs and umbrellas setup on the beach for use. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent little hotel. We loved the convenience of being able to walk/bike down to the Mall.
