Pyramid Resort Motel

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in August, 2026 to relax after a weekend of family wedding festivities. We found the motel to be very clean and well maintained - basic but not fancy - with a comfortable bed and good shower. We were pleased to find a rubber mat for tub safety. The wall-unit AC was very effective, but noisy when it cycled on. Parking was tight but available without charge. We enjoyed the vintage vibe, the 1950-60s music played at the pool in the AM, and milkshakes from on-site ice cream shop.

Our stay was amazing. I loved how close we were to the beach and they had grills that functioned perfectly. We will be back.

Friendly owners and employees. Clean, quiet, close to beach, can walk to boardwalk. Provided parking. Kitchenette nice but small...perfect for breakfast and snacks. Nice size refrigerator. Pool was very nice with a fun slide. Overall great stay and would stay again.

We booked an efficiency so had a fridge and freezer, small microwave, gas burners and kitchen sink. Awesome! Bathroom was well-stocked with towels, extra toilet paper and the housekeeping team always ready for whatever was needed. Pool was well maintained, perfect temp, had nice tunes playing during day, and my daughter loved the water slide. Lastly, location was everything! Literally about a two minute walk to beach, no streets to cross, and short drive to boardwalk and restaurants.

This was my boyfriend and I's first time staying here and overall we were pleased with the accommodations. The day we arrived housekeeping forgot to give us towels but we went to the front desk and they gave us more than enough. The room itself was a little small and the fixtures a bit dated but everything worked fine for us and was clean, my only complaint is that the bed was a bit uncomfortable. There's also a great pool on site with a slide that we saw plenty of kids having a good time on. They also sell ice cream on property which was actually pretty good. The property is also within walking distance of the beach and less than 15 minutes from the boardwalk and Cape May. Overall this is a nice, friendly place to stay if you want to get away from downtown Wildwood.

COMPLETELY Satisfied on ALL Levels. This reasonably priced Family Friendly hotel exceeded Our expectations! We met many Families who have returned over MANY Years and We WILL join that "LIST. Husband and Wife (Tom & Michele) Mgrs. have owned and perfectly maintained The Pyramid Hotel for 15 years (as of 2026). They even have a washer/dryer on premise, an ice cream "shack" and a Large "Manitowoc" ice machine 10 ft from the office, a beautiful large pool w/ a water "tube" for Kid's (Parent's becoming "children" too!). The gorgeous beach is an half a block away. There's an AMAZING Cheerful housekeeping Staff who provide spotless rooms on a daily basis. They've worked there for many years and both Management and Staff consider each other "Family". Two, almost new ,large "Char Broil " grilles and in selective rooms, there is a 2 burner glass top stove and Full refrigerator. New large screen T.V.'s. If You are an ignorant "party animal", find another place!!

The place is within walking distance of the beach, which was great. We booked it for the high-rating reviews, but everything else was just ok. Our room was a corner unit near the dumpster where everyone congregated to smoke. The place was clean, but the cleaning products smelled so strong that it triggered my asthma, so we had to keep the door open at times to aerate the room since it did not have a window you could open. The pool was too small; we didn't end up using it. The mattress was too old and uncomfortable; the room was too tight, just enough for a queen bed, a small table, and two chairs, which was ok for what we needed for a last-minute reservation. Location is great; the owner was helpful and courteous. If you are a couple looking for more of a private and quite upscale place, this is not where you want to be.

The Pyramid is the perfect Wildwood getaway. It’s clean, cozy, and quiet and Michelle and Tom are the perfect hosts and the staff attentive. We can’t wait to go back!!

The man at the desk was very helpful and was within full and clear communication with us. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice to help clean and refill anything we needed. The pool is in great condition and the accessibility for using grills is awesome. The ac was a little noisy but very strong so our room was nice and cool. The only complaint I would have is the parking spots are fairly small and are tight for larger vehicles. Other thank that, this spot is excellent

Owner had staff walk right into our room when we were packing and getting ready to check out. Didn’t even knock on our door. Owner became irate and told me he was going to call the cops if we didn’t leave immediately.I won’t stay here ever again.

The pool and slide. Family oriented and atmosphere. Extremely clean.

We had a great experience at the pyramid, our room was very clean and well organized. We had a nice sized refrigerator and a sink, beds were comfortable. The pool area was very and there were no issues with parking. We enjoyed it and the owner was very friendly from check-in to check-out.
