Clean Room, multiple parking spots open. Excellent stay.

Room was a great space a little dated but definitely enough room for my family. Perfect location great staff.

Parking is minimal--1 vehicle allowed per room (a guest had an 8 person room--hard to imagine they fit all 8 in one car). Staff was friendly and tried to help. Breakfast was for an extra fee--so we opted not to try/have it.

The Property was lovely, and the proximity to the beach was great. We enjoyed the beach the morning before our check-in. The pool was wonderful too.

Once you walk into the room it seems clean and comfortable but once settled you notice things here and there. My family and I stayed in ANNS which is one of their one bedroom two queen beds, one in the room the other outside by the kitchen. The kitchen very basic two electric burner, sink, and fridge which was next to a wall that the door would stop but made it difficult to fully open the vegetable draw. Part of the room had lay in ceiling square which were not placed correctly and hand screws that were also put in place horribly. The balcony door would not lock and the pull out bed hinges were rusted so that we couldn’t pull the bed out. The maintenance person came and unstuck the bed but once fully stretched you could see the rust lines on the top linen and bottom, I asked that it be removed and he said it wasn’t his responsibility but never attempted to send house keeping to clean the bed. I notified front desk and the issue was not solved. Now for the rest of the stay was fine, the pool and area were clean and by the beach. Good hotel not the best I give it a 3 out of 5 because of the issue we had.

Nice location. Only difficult thing was parking. The spots are too tight.

It was clean and comfortable. Front desk wasn’t very helpful. We wanted to know what to do in the area and she had nothing. Definitely not a front desk person for a resort. Not very friendly. This is a resort for a family with kids.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The front desk manager was extremely aggressive and rushed me through the check-in process. I had a few questions, but instead of helping me, she told me that she “didn’t have time right now” and that I should come back later because she was the only person working at the front desk. I understand that the front desk can get busy, but the way she spoke to me was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. My 10-year-old also asked her a simple question about where the bathroom was, and she immediately caught an attitude with my child. There was absolutely no reason for that kind of response. The elevator was another major issue. It took forever, and there were so many guests complaining about the elevator and the long wait. I was also very disappointed with the condition of the bedding. Comforters and blankets should be cleaned and changed regularly between guests. You have no idea what the previous guest may have brought into the room or what they may have been carrying. No customer should have to sleep under a dirty or disgusting comforter. Overall, my first experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The customer service, elevator situation, and cleanliness of the bedding all need serious attention. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because guests deserve to feel comfortable, respected, and welcomed when they stay he

Clean hotel

Location to beach restaurants & close to Cape May! The hotel is OLD, & most definitely needs upgrades!! Our room door did not close properly unless we really pushed hard on it. The rugs throughout the hotel were old & did not look clean. Walls need painting. We were very disappointed that the poolside Tiki bar was not operational or open! It’s summer time, that is an important feature for many guests & there’s no reason it should be closed. Check out time could have been extended longer - but we only got an extra 1/2 hour.

Location Rude people

The staff at check in was great. We had a great room on the top floor. Enjoyed the pool and entertainment by a DJ. The only two complaints are one elevator wasn't working and not enough luggage carts available for checking in/out. We have stayed here in the past...and I'm sure we will again!

There is nothing they need to improve; staying at El Coronado was one of the most wonderful experiences. The staff is very respectful, and the place is clean, cozy, and has everything you need. I highly recommend it and give it the highest rating. Thanks to El Coronado, I had one of the best experiences of my life.
