Excellent location and staff. Property is looking very “loved” and could use some refreshing.

Little things. Massive lint buildup at back of hair dryer. No easy tv access to netflix, amazon, apple tv. No ear swabs. Sheets not v nice fabric, minor hassle if forced perp walk through 2nd floor lobby. Totally mediocre breakfast coffee. No deal breakers but no pleasures.

The property is OLD do not be fooled by the pictures. There’s a sign that say no smoking. However, there’s weed smell throughout the property. I booked for a weekend and opted to only be there one day. Not up to my standards at all.i would NEVER stay at this embassy again. It’s NOTHING like the others.

My wife and I had another wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Chevy Chase while helping our daughter move in for her sophomore year at American University. The comfortable accommodations and convenient location once again made this busy family transition much easier. We truly enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning for a fifth stay whenever the need arises.

Getting into the parking garage was difficult as there is a bus terminal stop and the buses kind of blocked visibility. Their engines were on throughout their stay which was noisy and as such annoying.

It’s a great location. The layout is a little funky cause you have to take a lot of elevators if you are parking a car. No smart TVs and housekeeping didn’t refresh the coffee and cups. Overall, it’s a great place to stay.

Front desk staff was amazing. (All shifts) Love that the pool was open late. Couch in room could have been cleaner. Restaurant staff was not the friendliest. Asked for 2 sets of plastic utensils and was told they were only for restaurant patrons. Breakfast could have been better. The scrambled eggs texture was weird and they should have been a 3rd juice option provided.

Right at the Metro station. Front desk staff was really helpful and good. Well trained. Breakfast was great Bathroom could use some renovations. We also got locked out of our room. Another guest locked the main door leading to our room. They were also smoking marijuana in the room. We were able to get another room but the bathroom was peeling and needed renovation

Quiet hotel with convenient location with the metro station in the basement. Only downside is parking being slightly confusing.

It was a beautiful experience and the whole place was clean. Staff was helpful.

I cannot believe that this is the review I have to leave but everyone needs to know how BAD this hotel is. I have stayed at other Embassy Suites before and they have never been like this one. From the moment we arrived this hotel was a nightmare. Checking-in, we were met with an attitude from the woman at the front desk because there was poor communication between the hotel and corporate. The woman got the manager and he was able to get us into our room but was so unapologetic when I told him that so far things were not going well. We got our key cards and they had to rescan them THREE times in order for them to work (with a 5 year old and a 1 year old waiting with their dad to get into the room after an 8 hour car ride). When we finally got into our room, it was DIRTY and I mean DISGUSTING DIRTY. There was dust and dirt everywhere, in every corner, on every surface. The table and counters were sitcky. The bathroom was even worse, the tub was peeling and chipped, looked like it hadent been clean, possible mold or mildew staining. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling by the tub and when we lifted the peeled up piece, there were BUGS CRAWING UNDER IT!!!! We left the next day to go to the zoo and did a night visit to the National Mall, we got back to the hotel just after 10 and found ourselves LOCKED OUT, there is a door bell but after many trys, no one let us in and we had to walk through 2 floors of the hot underground parking garage with our tired kids to get back in!

Amazing everything was excellent

Pool has swimming lessons going on throughout the day so hotel guests only get use of half the pool.
