There were several moments when staff didn’t seem as attentive or knowledgeable as I would have expected, even when asking fairly standard questions, such as the cost of valet parking. There were also times when calling Guest Services that the person answering the phone didn’t provide the warm or welcoming greeting I would typically expect from a property at this level. I also felt that the hotel could have been a little more accommodating with certain requests, particularly late checkout. While I understand that late checkout is always subject to availability, it was a little disappointing to see that a 4:00 PM checkout appeared to be available as a benefit for certain American Express guests, while there seemed to be much less flexibility otherwise. That said, the staff did make an effort to accommodate where they could, which I appreciated. Aside from those service-related issues, I really enjoyed my stay. The room was excellent, the hotel is beautiful, and the overall experience was still a good one. With a little more consistency in attentiveness, hospitality, and guest accommodations, the experience could have been exceptional.

Did a staycation for my birthday. The staff was helpful and very nice. A bummer you all don’t celebrate your customers. I called down about my very warm room during the harsh days of July in dc. Technician responded swiftly and fixed it. My room took a day to cool off. Housekeeping was awesome. Bartenders were kind.

This is a fabulous property. From its outward appearance to the friendly staff, spacious rooms that lacks nothing. The restaurant staff and the chefs are wonderful. They also have a fitness center that is not just treadmills. Free weights, kettlebells and various machines.

We had a great stay at the Conrad! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, and everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was beautiful and modern. I’ve never experienced motorized drapes and sheers. The staff was equally as impressive. When we asked about the rooftop bar, the hotel rep walked us to the elevator and provided detailed instructions. I will definitely return to this hotel!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a chocolate treat. I highly recommend this place, and we intend to come back later this year.

Great location and service!

Was very happy with our stay here! Very nice staff, great food at the restaurant, the rooms were very spacious, and the rooms also had a lot of nice extra touches that made the stay very enjoyable including: robes, slippers, lots of options for the lights, shower pressure very nice, two sinks and a spacious bathroom. These days you really have to go through reviews to see what is just a minor complaint versus what is concerning. One thing I will say is the bed was not as comfortable as I would have expected but maybe some people like a flatter bed. I gave four stars on the cleanliness and property maintenance because although it was for the most part very clean there were minor things I saw that could be improved for a property of this stature.

The 10th floor at the Conrad Washington was exquisite. The staff catered to our every need, the common room was open for breakfast and dinner as well as 24 hours a day for snacks and drinks. All of the staff were amazingly friendly and we felt right at home. The bedding and amenities were excellent.

Very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Great location downtown, central to everything. Would book again!
