Door to bathroom did not shut. Key to room stopped working and staff were unhelpful and unapologetic. Service was mediocre. Would not return.

The restaurant waa under renovation. The food selection wasn't robust in the rooftop bar and staff seemed uninterested in providing service one might expect of a typical dining experience.

We wanted a more boutique hotel experience and this was perfect. Staff were beyond helpful, allowing us to store our luggage for the afternoon when we came back through DC days after our checkout. Gave us a complimentary upgrade, which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious. It’s a ways from the metro and not the most convenient to the major landmarks and museums, but the service is second to none.

This place was awesome! Could see the capital building right outside our bedroom window from the 9th story. Parking was in a garage across the street and was easy to access. For reference we have a 6.5 bed pickup truck with a crew cab and parking it is a bit of a pain. There WERE spots available that worked in the parking garage without being too much trouble.

This was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The location is fantastic, and the hotel itself is incredibly stylish and beautiful. Everything feels new, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and convenient. The rooftop pool was a fantastic bonus after a long day of walking around Washington, DC. It was clean, relaxing, and exactly what we needed at the end of the day. I also want to give a special shout-out to the chef at the rooftop restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the view was fabulous! Having dinner with such an amazing view made the experience even more special. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Room and amenities were excellent. Rooftop restaurant services were okay-waitstaff seemed a little aloof.

Great experience! Beautiful and clean room, with a lot of natural sunlight. Great service from staff. Good positioning in the city so I was able to walk over to places I wanted to visit easily.

If visiting during the holiday, be sure to ask the front desk about events held at the hotel during your stay

Hotel was conveniently located near the National Mall and Capital. Hotel and area clean. The only issue was with tv working properly, but was addressed and fixed promptly by hotel maintenance.

Breakfast is generous. Swimming pool is OK but small and easily crowded. Well located. Overall an OK stay.

Great location in a safe and walkable area, very clean, great fitness room

This will definitely be a hotel we use when we come to DC. We only live in Baltimore, so it’s only an hour away, but we like to spend the night and do museums and restaurants the following day or two. An excellent hotel in every way, other than the lighting in the bathroom. For a woman, bring a lighted mirror to do your makeup lol

Our 6 night stay at the Arlo was wonderful ! We got an amazing room in the historic section of the hotel. The amenities were very nice and the breakfast was good. The location is very convenient and the parking garage is right next door !! Would definitely recommend a stay here !

Elevator security system was excellent.

We had a room in the older section of the hotel which was fantastic. Exposed brick making for a unique experience. Very clean and remodeled exceptionally well. The bathroom had a beautiful walk in shower. Nice cafe for coffee in the morning or full restaurant if you have time for a sit down meal. Rooftop bar for cocktails and appetizers. There’s also a small pool up there if you need a quick dip to cool off. Had the best time. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Only thing I would say is they should always stock the room with towels for 2 people. Otherwise no complaints
