Great resort with attention to details and great amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful! Activities well organized and timely.
-
Nevertheless, the staff is still helpful. Special thanks to Michael Gazia at the front desk for giving us a warm welcome.

Make sure you call and ask questions. I went solely upon the reviews. There was a lot that wasn't offered due to construction. But of course everything was available based off off there website and what they advertised. Also, there are a very few lifeguards, mainly at the beach and I really didn't see them do much. Nothing was getting cleaned and this property is right off the beach so sand all in the pools constantly. Food prices are expensive for what you get. When I went to the front desk (several times)to ask a question or if something could be done, I wasn't accommodated in any way and was pretty much told to wait till someone was ready to help(this includes getting bath tissue for the room, we were out). In the end it was a nice trip, but for what we paid and the condition of the resort.... No way..and because I wasn't even offered any kind of apology or compensation of any sort, I wouldn't pay to go back.

The only thing I didn’t like was we didn’t get to experience the water park because of the weather. I wish they can plan to have it out at least 4 days a week instead of just 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

tradewinds at Island Grand was a great place for a staycation! the staff was friendly and helpful and there's lots to do! The only thing is the main entrance should have automatic doors to make walking inside easy! Otherwise, it's always a great time!

Amenities mainly friendly staff and beach are the good points for this hotel. What let it down was the cleanliness in rooms and public areas which is why we would not return to this hotel.
-
I drove many hours just to use their amenities and they no longer had those amenities. I felt like it was false advertising.

The woman that checked us in was quite rude. They expect a tip for everything. Buy a can of beer and bring it up to the register…tip for the cashier checking us out. The motto is just let go. I say Just don’t go. This trip easily cost us as much as a five star all inclusive in Mexico.

The kids absolutely loved the giant slide, the beach/pool areas, mini golf and duck boats/feeding. The woman hated that they found a half-dead roach the first day, which took housekeeping until the 2nd day to clean. Nobody appreciated the pot smoke from the neighbors. (Don’t worry if you smoke the hotel doesn’t actually care) Although I didn’t appreciate the inconvenience of getting stuck in the elevator; my biggest disappointment was that the only person who seemed to care at all about any of these issues was the head of security. Not one single supervisor/ manager from front or back of house ever bothered to make things right or even just reach out to apologize. Happy birthday to me! If you go, don’t expect much from the room or housekeeping. Most food (even the pizza) was good. Wait staff were mostly excellent. Kids loved swimming with the fishes at rumfish. (Additional charge)

I will Def come back this area is amazing and the 3 hotels are like 1 big property... had such an amazing time. 5 pools, arcade, beach with huge slide everything was great can't complain about anything
-
Very beautiful, it an up and coming resort, you can see that the resort are doing lots of positive changes, look out for the $55 amenities fee per day, and it’s not an all inclusive resort need to pay for all your food, they do have free activities that are wonderful.

There were two elevators and one was out of service for over five days. The other one was extremely slow. We often walked the steps because the wait time was ridiculous. Our room was ok but very dated. The toilet was extremely low to the floor and reminded me of a

I was not a fan of the hotel at all. It's very old and needs a huge facelift. The rooms are small and carpet was gross. Bathroom was a box. The shower had zero pressure. The tub was dingey and small. The toilet wouldn't flush more than once. U had to wait a while to flush again. Our door didn't close right. My Daugher left her blanket in her bed and they claimed not to find it. The price is obnoxious for what u get. The bars close super early. I was not a fan of this resort and would never come back.
