(and this place had an incredibly comfy bed!)

This is a great value hotel. It enjoyed the morning coffee, breakfast at Rosie’s, and the Gilden Unicorn is a great restaurant, hidden gem only accessed through the hotel. All clean. Bed was only full size and random frequent sounds like pressure from pipes or something. But would stay again due its good location and value.

Great historical hotel but be aware everything is off site. Dogs are only 25.00 but potty area is 3 blocks away

Not the best

Great hotel. Large room and a great location. The breakfast place they own down the street was great too and you get a discount as a guest.

Room clean, didn't like the shower, open shower meant water everywhere. Breakfast choice was terrible.

Beautiful and spacious room with comfortable bed. I love this boutique hotel.

Beautiful old hotel, conveniently located in downtown Spokane, Some exceptional decor, very tastefully arranged throughout. However the HVAC kept us awake with mysterious humming sounds all night, and the shower floor drained into the bathroom as the tiles were sloped incorrectly. Bed was fine, free coffee was delicious and the breakfast at Rosie's was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've encountered. I would be wary of losing a night's sleep again, however - there's no way the cleaning staff would not have heard the noise - just failed to report it. The rug was old and a little stained, this should be addressed as the hotel otherwise is quite carefully maintained.

I honestly don't want to stay anywhere else in Spokane. First time, but can't imagine anywhere else going forward.

Beautiful historic hotel super centrally located in Spokane. Every staff member we interacted with was so helpful. Free breakfast items from Rosie’s down the street are good portions and quality. Good discounts at nearby restaurants. You can definitely hear footsteps from rooms above you but I think that’s to be expected with any older building. It’d be hard to imagine staying anywhere else in Spokane.

We had a very cool apartment style two bedroom suite that made it easy to catch up and hang out with visiting family members. Minimal dishes and kitchen amenities but they were fine. Breakfast was “free” but was simply an egg and cheese option from down the street. Breakfast included the best tater tots I’ve ever had! It should also include coffee (but doesn’t) in my opinion. I loved being in the middle of historic Spokane in a cool brick building.

Spacious room, great location. Breakfast sandwich at local restaurant Rosie’s was nice.

The property has a charming old-world character that gives it a unique appeal and sets it apart from more generic hotels. While it definitely has its charm, some areas could use a refresh. The bathroom, in particular, would benefit from a remodel, as it is starting to show its age. There was also no soap in the body wash dispenser in the shower, which was an unfortunate oversight. Despite those minor issues, the hotel did the job well and provided a comfortable experience. The combination of the excellent location, quiet rooms, and distinctive historic feel made for an enjoyable stay. With a few updates and a bit more attention to maintenance details, this would be an even better place to stay. There are some electric outlets to charge an EV in the parking lot behind the hotel. You have to bring your own portable charger. There are different type of outlets you can use. But check with the hotel to see if they function or not, as they looked pretty used.

Wonderful stay at a unique vintage feeling place for a great price. The included breakfast at Rosie's diner wad amazing!

Good breakfast.

1. Add blackout curtains. The outdoor lights the entire room, even with blinds which makes it difficult to sleep at night. 2. Don't charge for water. Honestly that is pretty. 3. The breakfast being free for the items without any protein or drink. You get more at other hotels with lower price points 4. The toiletries were lacking and the toilet paper is dollar store quality. - do better. 5. There was a noise in my room that would go off every 10-15 minutes. It sounded like it was a fan attempting to turn on. No, it was not the hvac in the room. That was a different noise. The staff were polite and the hotel visually looks nice but the items that I listed above would make me choose a different hotel for my future stays in Spokane.

This is a really nice hotel. We only stayed two nights. The ceilings are high, the rooms were quiet and smoke free. The beds were comfortable. It has a lovely Victorian feel to the property. The location is convenient and everything we did was within walking distance. I would stay here again. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. My only real complaint was the overflow parking was not super convenient, a walk a couple of blocks away.
