The big plus is the location, right by a huge marina (if you like looking at boats) and the Calvert Marine Museum- combines natural history and the commercial history of the area, has the Drum Point lighthouse (you can tour) and a boat tour of Patuxent Harbor, plus fossils, river otters, fish. Calvert Cliffs / Flag Pond parks are a 10 minute drive if you want to dig for fossils yourself. So: comfortable place, very reasonably priced, close to all sorts of stuff; definitely worth it.

clean room, easy to highway and breakfast great

We liked the location of the property and the beautiful scenery of the water and sailboats. It was a great 2 days. We will be returning!
-
I like the proximity to everything like restaurants, parks and shops.

Quality Inn is in a very nice location, walking distance to museum, marina, fishing pier and boardwalk. The hotel just needs update…it is very out dated. But we didn’t care because all we need is just a place to sleep…free breakfast is minimalistic. So far so good!

Terribly loud and noisy outside my door 🚪 sometimes till 1:00 am!?. Some people I was told were residing there seemed to be the loudest. The entry ways were really loud and out back there was easily over week old garbage on the ground rite by the door! Three out of six no uninterrupted sleep 💤. Sincerely needs some employees replaced and crowd control at night!!. Sincerely I will never stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the use of the pool. Unfortunately, the mini fridge in our room was not functioning correctly and our shower did not get hot water. The ice maker on the second floor also did not work. When I used the ice maker on the first floor, there plumbing situation next to the ice maker also seek precarious. It didn't make too big a difference in our stay, but the condition of the tub, bathroom, and doors in the room was also very poor. This was our second time staying at this hotel and unfortunately I do think it will be our last. Despite the location being excellent, the physical condition of the hotel sadly isn't great. The first time we stayed there (2 years ago), there was a huge water stain on the ceiling, presumably from a roof leak and everything in the room was damp from humidity.

This is our go to when we visit Solomons. Quiet, peaceful, right on the marina. She's not super fancy but the staff is awesome, breakfast is included, and again, the view is perfect.

It's a low grade motel with trashy staff but you probably fillrd it so what would you care.
-
Window unit A/C was filthy, and caked with mold. This made us sick within a day - we had to leave early
-
It was a nice play to stay. There were strange parking signs that made some spots exclusive, with no logical reason. The place needed a refresh but it was adequate.
-
Property is very convenient for visiting Solomons Island
-
Accommodation was fine. No complaints, but nothing special.

Staff was amazing

We had a good experience at the Quality Inn Solomon's Island. The hotel is functional, not fancy. Its location inspires a peaceful state of mind. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, parking was easy. We would happily return for a future stay.

The following night, there was so much noise in the hallway by our room close to 11pm. When I popped my head out the door, it was one of the front desk clerks yelling profanities about kids to allowed to leave the room. Needless to say, we barely slept that night. The area was nice due to proximity to water, but if this normal management, we would not be staying here again

the breakfast had basically nothing at 9 a.m. The room was filthy! There were stains on the comforter (i.e. blood). The floors were slimy. The toilets were dirty. We were in the area for a funeral on Tuesday night, and on Wednesday. We didn't arrive at the hotel until 9:00 p.m. There were dead bugs in the bathroom. We would have left if we could have been refunded. There were no other hotels available in the area.

My room was nasty. They didn't have bedding to fit the king size bed. It looked like someone threw sphegetti sauce all over the room. The floor still had hair and pubes on it. We had a hottub without the stopper. When we used it on Saturday and Sunday the smoke alarm sounded. It scared us. I was told we would receive some kind of compensation due to the issues we had. The pool was scocked the first day, second day we were told enter at your own risk or use your discretion.

The location Yuk. Trash bags in front of the main entrance. Room was disgusting. Paint being off the walls. Stains on the carpet. Needs serious renovating.
