The front receptionists were on it ! They were kind and helpful. The room was clean and ice cold when we got in there. The halls were quiet the entire time.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Clean hotel. The only negative thing was shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty in the bathroom. Normally this wouldn’t have bothered me because I bring my own, but this time I didn’t. My bad!

Thank you for making our stay in our trip to Cedar Point, relaxing

Pool was nice. Front desk was a little unorganized and gave us 2 rooms that weren’t ready for us to stay in. One was under construction and was literally missing the door handle and the other was dirty and someone had just checked out of it.

Great place to stay and close to CP

The room was clean and comfy. Pool was really shallow but was nice. The staff was really nice but the shop and vending machines were extremely overpriced. Great for a simple cheaper stay at cedar point.

For what you pay - this place is sub par at best. You can tell within the entire Cedar Point property that Private Equity has control over now and they are so cheap with every single detail- from paint colour to the staff they hire who don’t give a crap bc they are likely paid min wage and not well trained or treated like crap. I would support a bigger chain to get the points vs staying at this place.

Staff wasn't very helpful or friendly. while preparing for a shower the first night we were there, there was no shampoo, soap or conditioner in the bathroom. I saying there wasn't even a drop in the containers. I was furious. Then it took 2 hours later for them to bring some to the room without hardly an apology. They really need to check out the rooms before guest arrive.

Very clean hotel. Very close to cedar point.

We had a great stay. The hotel was clean, rooms were nice. The staff decorated our room for my sons birthday and left him some special things which we really appreciated. Our stay was very comfortable. Very short drive to Cedar point which was great. We got early entry to the park as well which was helpful. We will definitely be back.

Was very close to Cedar Point, within a short drive. I would have given a better rate except the smell in the room was bad

Room was damp and not clean. Staff was not helpful

I was very happy with Cedar Point Express Hotel. Probably the nicest place I’ve stayed all summer. Beautiful pool area, convenient, wonderful staff. Loved it!

Rooms were not cleaned. Did not refill toiletries in the bathroom. Staff couldn’t find my reservation and wasted over 45 mins. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional staff.

Easy check in check out

The room itself was sufficiently clean, but the mattress cover was ripped and the stuffing was coming out, which caused the sheets to continually come off the mattress. That’s something we would expect to be addressed before a room is given to a guest. Our check-in experience was also underwhelming. The male guest services employee wasn’t rude, but he didn’t make us feel particularly welcome. When we asked if there was anywhere nearby at the hotel to get something to eat, we were told, “not really.” We received very little information about the hotel, its amenities, or what was available to guests beyond being told where our room was. The biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of amenities. Confused as to why this is considered a “resort.” There is no breakfast, but has a pool and store, but beyond that, there didn’t seem to be much offered. We never really got a clear picture of what amenities or experiences are included with a stay here. We chose this hotel specifically because it is a Cedar Point property and we had high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience left us disappointed. For the price we paid, we expected much more from a resort-style hotel. Overall, the room was OK, but the lack of amenities, poor communication at check-in, and maintenance issue with the bedding made this stay feel overpriced.
