The parking is expensive and they also had other hidden fees as well on top of that. The parking staff was unfriendly and rude.

I found a chunk of long hair on the shower wall when I walked in. The room was really loud, I don’t think there’s any soundproofing done. Worst of all, the elevator broke for the entire weekend, so everyone had to take stairs. Since I had a room right next to the stairs, I could hear Loud footsteps, banging suitcases, and people loudly complaining about the whole situation. Very poorly maintained property. Also, it’s in a sketchy neighborhood, so I am certain that I won’t be staying here ever again.

Arnold was very helpful at the front desk. The hotel is beautiful and clean and is a San Francisco treasure! I enjoyed my stay and will be a return customer.

We really liked the interior ambiance of the hotel at check in. And the room was stellar with the bed in the corner and windows on both sides. The bars across the street were great so that part we liked how easy it was to go out. The hotel used to have a bar downstairs and now it is closed. There are plenty of bars all around so not a big deal if you are looking for late night drinks. The area is one block from the Tenderloin. Was not a problem for us and our stay. And there is no gym.

The Staff made our stay even more special by making a basket with a can of Fanta Pineapple Soda with bag of assorted chocolate candies and a birthday card and Happy Birthday Balloon in our room before we checked in&we arrived on my birthday July 11! We like being able to order food to be delivered to us at the hotel and if we needed anything can call the front desk from our room. Location was great and be able to call for Uber or Lyft to go around the city. Nothing.

The staff, ambiance, beds, and overall vibe was great, as always. Have stayed at this location every year for the past few years for Outside Lands Music Festival and also stayed at their Boston location. Consistently great. The TVs are also nice, with streaming options and even an HDMI cable for connecting your own device!! Yesha and Brian were at the front desk on our day of checkout and were super helpful. We needed to store our luggage for the day before we depart and also needed plates/utensils to eat breakfast with. I then needed to change into shorts and they were happy to fetch my bag. Very friendly and outgoing staff. A++ We look forward to our next stay :) The location is in a bit of a seedy area, but there’s still great breakfast options around and even a late night pizza slice shop. Also wish the bar/cafe was still operational, a bit sad to see it permanently shuttered. Maybe they could partner with Heist and offer burritos (made next door, but delivered on mornings) and have a barista for basic drinks. I get it wasn’t profitable most likely.

The Hotel and staff were wonderful, and the property is very clean inside . My only complaint is the outside of the property. The outside is dirty and surrounded by many homeless people and it’s not very visually pleasing. We felt very uncomfortable taking our dog outside at night , and again in the early am .

The hotel was nice inside but it has some downsides. Hotel says it’s extremely pet friendly but doesn’t have a designated place for dogs to relieve themselves. This was a major problem during our stay. My puppy struggled so much to find a place to go and held it in for our whole stay. The outside of the hotel like most of San Francisco is dirty. Dog and human feces around the street. I know it’s not the hotels fault but because of this they should have a place for pets. Will not be going there again if traveling with my fur baby.

First, the hotel advertises a restaurant and bar on its website, but both have been permanently closed. This was disappointing because it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Second, the air conditioning in our room never worked. We reported the issue, but it was never fixed during our stay. Being on the third floor with windows that could not be opened, our room stayed around 80°F, making it very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Third, the TV in our room did not work at all. Fourth, the coffee maker brewed cold coffee even though it was clearly intended to make hot coffee. Finally, the shower dispenser was out of conditioner. I requested a refill twice, but it was never provided. Overall, the lack of maintenance, inaccurate information on the hotel’s website, and poor follow-through on guest requests made for a very frustrating experience. For the amount I paid to stay here, this experience was completely unacceptable. I expected much better, and instead I was met with one issue after another that was never properly addressed. It felt like an insult to charge guests premium rates while failing to provide the basic amenities and services that were advertised.
