Staff on reception on checking in were great, really welcoming and helpful. Bathroom was at best tired, and shower was in need of refurbishment. The bed was okay but had seen better days.

On arrival the room was like a sauna and damp. However the receptionist on duty said we could change rooms the following day when one became available. The website states parking at the hotel but that is extremely limited and to be told that we could move our car from the main road at 10 o’clock at night when staff left was not ideal. The room overall was very tired and in need of decoration.Perhaps a hover around the room would have been a good idea as the edges were thick with dust. Parking. Cleanliness. The meals in the restaurant are extremely limited. The Pizza was terrific but how many times can you eat Pizza.

No view, sparse on tea and coffee etc. No drawer storage, few hangers. Noisy, hear flushing and water running from room above and noise outside. Location good, staff pleasant. Would stay again but hopefully not in Room 23!! .

Spacious rooms and great facilities. Super clean too. The staff were exceptional and helpful, so kind and professional. The bed was so comfortable and roomy. Parking was not great but the staff were really helpful and accommodating. It was also incredibly hot! Shame it did not have air conditioning.

Easy parking, clean and comfortable The view from our window was the wall of another wing of the building, so the room was a little dark. Not really a problem though, as we didn’t spend much time in our room.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Late at night, a leak developed in my room which made it unusable. After reporting the issue, I was told that my best option was to wait until the manager arrived at 6:30am. As this was around midnight, the suggestion was effectively that I spend six hours in the hotel lobby waiting for a solution. After several discussions with staff, alternative accommodation was eventually arranged, but this took approximately three hours. As a result, I was unable to get to sleep until around 3:00am, significantly disrupting my stay. While I appreciate that maintenance issues can happen in any hotel, what was most disappointing was the way the situation was handled. The initial response was inadequate, and despite losing a large part of the night's sleep due to a problem entirely outside my control, the hotel refused to offer any compensation or goodwill gesture. A hotel stay is ultimately about having a safe and comfortable place to sleep, and on this occasion the hotel failed to provide that. The lack of accountability afterwards was equally frustrating. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled in the future, as guests should not be left without a usable room for hours in the middle of the night and then told that no compensation is warranted.
