Very helpful staff! Also loved the bar and breakfast area. And our room was very spacious for the rate!

I was a bit disappointed, this looked like such a beautiful historic hotel from the photos. The main lobby/entrance appeared to be under construction which I did not see noted when I booked. The sink was clogged in our room and did not drain well and the AC the second night did was not cooling properly. Most annoying was the incredibly loud drag racing car noise that went into the wee hours of the morning that kept us up. Apparently the police do not enforce at all. I wish I would have booked elsewhere.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The room was spacious and well appointed. We had a corner room with plenty of windows and light. It was also quiet and away from the elevator/traffic. My only complaint is that the in-room air conditioning unit was very loud and disruptive to our sleep. Otherwise, we had a delightful stay.

The property was beautiful. I loved the historic look. We had the double queen suite and it was HUGE! I was not expecting a very large living area and a roomy bedroom. It was awesome to have a large mini fridge with a freezer, a microwave, and a Keurig in the room. I raved about it to all my friends, and I would absolutely come back! The valet staff was also incredibly friendly and helped me figure out where to park even though I didn’t use their service.

Everyone was friendly. My room was insanely large. The bar/restaurant looked nice however I didn't visit. Adjacent to the capitol complex and downtown.

The rooms were clean and bathrooms as well. The elevator was tight but not to bad. My TV was not getting great signal as I had to switch channels.

Great customer service. Thanks for the stay.

The room size and dog friendliness were the best things about the hotel. The staff was very friendly, too. On the downside: the room wasn’t super clean. The floors had too much cleaning product and were slippery. The body soap container in the shower was empty on day one and despite letting them know, remained empty throughout our three day stay (they did hand us a few small hand soaps at the front desk to tide us over), the upholstery was worn, the windows which were 100% sealed with a double pain for noise, had cobwebs and housekeeping didn’t come one day (no idea why). As far as services go, again very friendly staff, but the hotel bar didn’t know how to make a basic martini, didn’t have tonic for a vodka tonic and the morning drip coffee (which was not free) was terrible. Overall, there’s a lot of potential, a beautiful park across the street, decent restaurants in walking distance, but it needs an upgrade and some staff oversight.

Spacious! Only staff I interacted with was Rick the doorman and he was fantastic. Location great to walk anywhere downtown and beyond if you’re up for it. Small things….shower water runs from faucet when shower is on, one of the floor “boards” was warped/rising up.

Our room was fantastic, very comfortable. The restaurant food was great except they didn't receive their beer delivery so the beer options were limited. The elevators are a small but I would expect that in an old building. Check in and check took a total of 4 minutes combined. I would definitely stay here again.

This is great place to stay! All the staff are outstanding.

The suite was perfect for my family. Great stay and beds were comfy

The room was an excellent value for the money. It was more like a suite!

Should be priced better for what you receive. A one night stay would be fine. It was quiet, minus the extremely loud old a/c system. Go elsewhere if you would like a cocktail and anticipate staff will be MIA often unless it is high check in or check out time. Sheets need an upgrade but room was spacious.
