The hotel was beautiful, area around the hotel a bit rough, and unfortunately there was a wedding so we weren’t able to use the gorgeous outdoor space. The bar is tiny but the bartender did a great job with the number of people there. Bob the shuttle driver was the best!!! He was so kind and accommodating- thank you Bob!

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Convenient parking. Historic building. Great boutique hotel.
-
The room was immaculate the only issue I had was the bathroom the shower was too small for my size or anybody size. But other than that it was a safe place, clean and an amazing staff presence and response. Definitely stay there!!!

Everything at this hotel was top notch. It is a boutique hotel with a lot of character, previously a monastery. Exceptionally clean with special touches like an excellent breakfast and a shuttle that will take guests wherever they want to go within a 2 mile radius. The outdoor garden was spectacular. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay at the Priory Hotel again if we go to Pittsburgh.

Great breakfast, wonderful staff, good location

Spent 2 nights there. Parking across the street was free, easy and safe. Short walk to PNC, Warhol, and downtown. Walked home from PNC at night and felt safe the whole time. Free shuttle service provided by the hotel in the evening. LOVED the breakfast boxes. I will stay here again next time i come to Pittsburgh. The room was clean and comfortable. Courtyard had a quaint old world feel t for coffee in the morning, sitting under the lights in the evening. Staff was nice and helpful. Only minor issue was with the computers in the business center were slow.

We had a random beeping start in the middle of the night which turned out to be the smoke detector. I mentioned it at checkout and was told they had been having battery issues recently. I didn't want to make a fuss as others were also checking out. I called the next day and asked if we could be compensated even a little and were told no. They said if we complained in the night we would have been moved to a different room. I am disappointed that my politeness impacted us in a negative way, I am sure if I made a fuss in front of the other guests we would have had a different outcome. I like to stay at hotels where customers comfort matters.

Unique old world Character. Ambiance. Housekeeping is not always reliable.

I was tired of the same boring hotel with a different name. Took a small chance on, wasn't disappointed. Everything from staff, rooms, breakfast, Monk bar and history was perfect. Only wish I could've explored the bldg. more.

Great breakfast. Stunning architecture.

Most of our stay was okay. Parking is very tight if you have a large vehicle. We also had a room facing the courtyard, and it was very loud in our room until well after 1:00 in the morning. Finally, the biggest problem was that it rained overnight, and all night long, we heard dripping that we thought was outside. However, around 5:00 in the morning, we realized that our room was leaking. It was dripping on the bed and running all down the wall. We went down to talk to the staff at the desk, but all she did was apologize and come up and take pictures. When we checked out, we were told that management would reach out to us, but no one did. We got very little sleep. I liked the location for walking to PNC Park, but because of the issues, I don't think we'd choose to stay here again.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The smallest bar had great drinks and good nibbles. The morning breakfast of an egg and cheese croissant, fresh baked muffins and coffee was perfect.
