Everything was Perfect

The location was great and the hotel was pretty clean. It was a little outdated but it was fine. It is not a typical hotel with a formal front desk. They were all in jeans and t-shirts with baseball hats and music playing. They were all eating lunch at the desk. They were very polite and helpful though. I was first sent to a room that was out of order. It was just painted and not ready for guests. When I went back downstairs, there were no other rooms ready. They took my luggage and when I came back 20 minutes later to add a bag, the room was ready and my luggage was in the room. I would stay again because it was convenient and clean and safe.

We were lured in by the photos displayed on the websites that advertised this property. There is NO bar NO in room dining NO restaurant or eatery. The photos are a gross overstatement of what this hotel actually is. We had a corner king room which was the only upside for our stay. Other than sleeping this hotel really does not offer any other reasons to stay in. Luggage is stored after you check out for $2 per bag!!!! Location convenient to subways.

great location, nice obs deck on the 5th floor, however rooms need deeper cleaning, had to request a new eoom right away due to hairS on the bed. second room a little better but very dusty in many spots especially by windows and under the bed

The carpet is dirty, bathroom has mold. No toiletries. Overall dingy hotel. No for NYC standards. The advertise a roof top… well THE IS NOT ROOFTOP.

The Washington Hotel is a decent choice in NYC with a location that’s close to everything. The staff were super friendly, and the view from our room was beautiful! The room itself was just okay, but the biggest issue was the bathroom. It has completely see-through glass walls. Sharing a room with four friends made showering extremely embarrassing since everyone can see right in. Great spot for convenience and views, but definitely lacking privacy if you're traveling in a group!

El personal fue muy agradable el lobby, ascensor y pasillo muy limpio. Esperábamos que nos hospedaran con vista a la ciudad así fue como pagamos pero nos dieron otra distinta, pero igual tratamos de tener unas vacaciones tranquilas y disfrutar el tiempo que nos quedamos.

Nothing was opened, tape keeps a lot of stuff together like the elevator and elevator buttons. Nothing provided in bathrooms. Towels were horrible. Rooms smelt like cigarettes.

Although the Washington could use some updating, the rooms are always clean, staff is professional and helpful and location is excellent. It is a great value. Water always available in the lobby and outdoor balcony comfortable. Deluxe rooms have an incredible view of the 911 Memorial.

It's a city and hotel. Don't expect much but strong water-pressure showers and hot, common area and balcony.

I had a great stay, great views and a relaxing time. I’ll definitely book again in the future.

Tried to contact the manager for 1 week due to an emergency cancellation. She did not take my call or make any efforts to accommodate.

Good hotel. Nothing special, but I would stay there again.

Their is no free parking despite it saying that on Expedia they give you voucher for parking which is still 65$ for each day. I thought I had scored a cheap stay but the parking situation ruined it. Also the cheap rooms are insanely small no microwave and a small shower which wasn’t too bad because it was at least very clean. TVs are like from 2014 you’d think based on the location. they’d at least give you a good TV hotel scene in NYC is mess just go to Jersey
