Had a wonderful stay at the Kitano Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and showed professionalism throughout our visit ,from check-in to check-out, every interaction was smooth and attentive. Very clean and comfortable hotel in a good location. Others have remarked about the relative quiet for NYC and this is accurate. We really appreciated the excellent housekeeping and daily refresh of towels. One area of improvement is that front desk staff is hit or miss with some being very helpful and others dismissive. For example, we asked the exact same question to two different front desk staff. One person declared our request "impossible" and when we asked why that's the case we were told "the computer system isn't designed that way." As all of us have worked in hospitality we knew this was ridiculous, so we asked someone else on a different shift and were accommodated instantly, "of course, that's no problem at all!"

Loved this hotel, room was spacious , nice bathroom and amenities . Room service was perfect, staff was helpful, friendly, been to NYC several times- this was my favorite hotel! Breakfast was great, will be back!
