Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square North

We arrived 8/22/2026- the front desk attendant receptionist , David, and during the rest of our stay was very helpful.

The room was a clean and a good size for NYC. The front desk and housekeeping staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend it and would stay here again.

First, I really liked this property and the only reason I'm writing this review is because I think they can improve and I would love to stay here again. The staff was excellent. However, here are my issues. Despite posting publicly that housekeeping is daily, my room was missed the first night and the last night. My stay was 7 days and if anyone has stayed in New York, you know there's a lot that goes on during those days. The worst thing for me is to come back to my room after being out all day and the beds aren't made, no clean towels and on both occasions no toilet paper. The other really humble things for me was the dryers in the guest laundry. I had to run my clothes 4 times for them to dry and each time was 45 mins. So my final night was the worst because I did not get to bed until 2am waiting for clothes to dry and then pack. Nonetheless I liked the location and every employee I came in contact with was super nice and ready and willing to help. I would like to see these things improve when I return.

I arrived at hotel 9:30 am asked for an earlier check in. They took my number and said they would call if the room was ready earlier. If they didn’t call check in was at 3. Came back at 3:15 room was not ready. How do you not have a room ready by the check in time when I made it a priority to ask for early check in. That means I want my room when check in time is and not after. Waiting around 45 minutes after being all over the city was annoying and poor customer service.

The hotel was convenient to all of the things that I wanted to visit. Everything else was well just making one point which it might be valid in telling customers do not rent. A taxi from the airport is a rip off.

Funcțional, clean, central, great restaurants nearby. Fairly quiet except for AC units. Good stock of items to buy for convenience.

Was able to get room by 4:20pm because there was no room available yet when we came back at 3pm to check in. It was just frustrating 'cause it was my bday and we came from an early morning flight so I was really expecting the room at exactly 3pm. However, Nicole did her best and we were compensated with free breakfast and complimentary drinks. She even said that I can get my bday cake in the resto. Everyone was nice in the resto and they really made my day.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

Immediately upon arrival, we were told that the king room we had booked was no longer available and instead, we were given double full beds. The bed was not comfortably sized for two adults sleeping together so my husband and I had to each take a bed. We were offered a complimentary voucher for the breakfast buffet. There was a nice variety of options at breakfast but none of the food was warm and I went 45 minutes after it opened. The front desk staff could use some training. You could tell they were annoyed to be at work and the interactions seemed very forced, it came off like they didn’t want to be bothered. Our hotel room was clean, the pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was really spacious. Bare minimum toiletries provided, not even a bar of soap, just heavily fragranced body wash. Solid location with good bars & food around. I like that they are one of few places that only charge a $50 incidental deposit. The price is fair, but getting the exact room I book is important to me so I will not stay here again.

All of the above good location, the staff was great real helpful was at your every need no matter what questions you had. They will give you the best answer they can give.

Me and my family had booked a two night stay at this location and we were very excited to enjoy our weekend in New York. On our first night, we were traveling all day. We were extremely exhausted. However, when we came back to our room, it was not clean. We did not have fresh towels. The bed was not made. Nothing was cleaned enough. The trash was not emptied.

Clean, quiet, updated, nice central location. Would stay again!
