DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York City - Chelsea

The room was average size. If you come with big luggage there is hardly any place left . Staff were courteous.

I like the convenience of this location to transport, shopping and general attractions. Since I found this hotel it is my preferred destination to stay in when I am in the city.

Elevators are too small and more attention was needed in the cleanliness of our room. Staff was wonderful and location great!

Noisy elevator needs repair. Few rooms per floor but 25 floors meant housekeeping and maintenance were always in the small elevators. King bed too short for a 5'9" person, frayed towels that were like sandpaper. This hotel did not live up to Hilton or Double Tree standards.

Location was good. I also liked that they had slippers. Noisy neighbors, fire alarm went off, uncomminicative and slow overnight staff, unknowledgable staff.

We were there for a concert at msg. The location was perfect. Not too long of a walk. But far enough til the noise wasn't bad.

Liked the ability to walk conveniently to places/ rooms were clean Check in was late and didn't seem to be a priority for staff until I asked after waiting over an hour to get our room. So we were rushed to get to our evening plans. The elevator broke on our stay so only one was available and caused us to stop almost every floor to get to the 26th floor. The rooms were incredibly small.
