Ameritania Hotel at Times Square

Thank goodness for housekeeping, otherwise this review would not be good at all. The room was so small and the bathroom smaller. This was a much different experience than my last stay at the Ameritania.

There was scaffolding outside our window which was loud during the day and prevented any sunlight from coming into our room. This should have been disclosed upfront. We would have made another choice.

Other the construction that was around the hotel. The hotel is nice and has a good area around easy accessible to multiple subways and you’re close to pretty much everything Times Square, Central Park, 5th Ave. its great.

Beautiful bathroom, but the room was dated and the bed was not comfy. there was 0 view (when we booked they boasted a beautiful city skyline view). Staff were friendly and helpful. And it is right off Broadway which made getting to all our shows within walking distance. Making it very convenient.

I absolutely loooooved my stay. The staff were nice and helpful. I wanted a room with a better view and was provided one the next day. The rooms were nice and very stylish and comfortable. The beds were fantastic. The bathrooms were the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. I barely wanted to leave the room and when I was out, couldn’t wait to get back to the room in that beautiful shower and comfy bed. Free glass of wine at cocktail hour from 4-6 pm. This is the best hotel experience I’ve had in all my visits to NYC. I will definitely be staying again!!!

Excellent location. Almost midway between Times Sq. & Central Park. Easy walk to either. Would consider staying again.

The Ameritania is a sound choice for staying midtown with access to Times Square and the Theatre District. The hotel staff does a nice job and is always accommodating. The hotel is a value for NYC compared to many other hotels similar. Comfortable - good showers - nice small lobby. I’ll be booking here again.

Rooms could benefit from a little more LTC. The room we were in had a beautiful and massive mirror the minute you walk through the door but there was no lighting above or beside the mirror so it was a really dark entry way. Not much natural lighting in the room as the windows were in between buildings and scaffolds due to construction. Also the blinds covered the AC unit so the AC did not feel as strong and I was not able to adjust the temperature to make it stronger. No complaints about the service - staff were friendly and helpful as could be.

The location was perfect for walking to all the sites and theatres we were looking for. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfy and the pillows were great. The bathroom was super cute and modern and the shower water pressure was awesome.

Clean room

Hotel was ok . They had complementary wine from 5pm-6pm . Tv wasn’t working . Hotel maintenance from 8 am to 5 pm . Curtains had to be closed . Overall hotel was fine for our stay , as we were out exploring NYC

It was a decent hotel, located in the heart of Times Square right next to the Ed Sullivan theater. Walking distance to lots of theaters and the subway and the big bus tours. It would’ve been nice to have coffee in the room so I could’ve made it a little earlier. Not the best hotel, but not the worst.
