The Jung Hotel and Residences

Overall, my stay was okay. The room was a little below my expectations, and the couches were somewhat worn and could definitely use an update. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom met my standards — and I’m pretty particular when it comes to hotel bathrooms! My biggest issue was that the shower water was cold, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there are a few areas that could use some improvement.

While the property is nice- the room I stayed in wasn’t cleaned. Bathroom was dirty. We weren’t properly informed on WiFi, hot water and linens.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Jung. And Melissa at the front desk provided top tier hospitality from the moment I walked into the property.

40 minute walk from the Riverwalk. Room poorly cleaned, towels with hair and stains, screaming and arguing for more than 10 minutes each time in the hallway between 1 am and 3 am on two occasions. Would not recommend, esp not with kids!

Staff was nice and polite

I gotta say this place surprised us. It is the biggest bang for your buck. The property is very well maintained and the room we stayed in was amazing. The staff was super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend and when we come back we already know where we’re staying.

The rooftop pool is relaxing Well kept hotel in the city! I love the late check out - New Orleans never disappoints!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Jung. The staff especially the bartender was so accommodating and helpful. The rooftop pool was nice and a vibe. The room was spacious and clean. The streetcar stops directly in front of the hotel leading to quick access to the French Quarter and Bourbon St. Only small complaint was lack of hot water in the shower despite pressing the button.

Great location nice building The rooms were actually dirty. There was toothpaste splashes on the walls in the bathroom. The shower had an area that was almost completely rusted out, but hadn’t been cleaned. It was actually pretty disgusting. The walls were very dirty and so was the baseboards.

I enjoyed my stay here. Found this hotel as a last minute booking and I will definitely be staying here again. The staff was super helpful, they greeted you coming and going which was consistent regardless of who was at the front desk.

Great option! Downtown room was much bigger than expected.
