Petit Cowboy

One of the best things was that it didn't feel like they were trying to nickel-and-dime you at every turn, which made it a lot easier to just relax and enjoy the trip. Kayla was amazing and took great care of us. The property has direct river access with a great spot for catch-and-release fishing, plus cornhole and a fun photo booth. They also had a couple of arcade games and a pool table in the lobby area. Check in and check out was fantastic in and out. Less than 3 minutes. The pool area, food, and drinks were all solid. There's an HEB that's that's 10 minutes away. There's a Shell station that's right around the corner. Less than 5 minutes away maybe. Even with neighbors downstairs and to the side, it was quiet, there was plenty of parking, and seeing all the deer around was a nice bonus. Definitely worth five stars.

The Almaguers!

The “room” we had was overall very clean, just needed to be vacuumed and mopped a little better. I’m gonna give grace on the warmth of the room as the Texas heat is brutal this time of year and air conditioners everywhere are struggling to keep up, it wasn’t unbearable by any means but we really could of used a small fan for sure. We loved the huge pool and that they provided pool floats/towels. The pool area had plenty of seating and umbrella’s too. There is access to the Comal and there were a few people in it but I got in and got right out, because the water isn’t flowing in that area and it seemed a little stagnant. Wasn’t a risk I was willing to take. They gave us the best recommendation for a river outfitter/transportation, PaddleTX. Stacey came to the cottages, picked us up and returned us when we were done with our float. He was impressionable and super helpful. Overall I give our experience as a whole an 8 out of 10. Most definitely will be back!

We had a blast! It was my daughter‘s birthday, and they decorated the room for us. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was exceptionally nice. We will be back.

I had an amazing stay. The pictures are exactly as advertised. Perfect for the summer vacation because you’re basically in the heart of town, Schlitterbahn is under 10min and other shopping needs are 15min along with restaurants. The staff is very friendly and the property is right on Comal river so you’re able to float and fish. The only negative I could think of is the bathroom was a bit small, other than that I had an amazing experience.

This place is a gem! We live 45 minutes away, and we were celebrating my husband and daughter’s birthday…..this place is precious! The staff was amazing, the venue was adorable and the food/drinks were great. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous property! Our room has everything we needed, comfortable beds & was very clean. The staff was great, very friendly. Fun pool & best of all your own entrance into the Comal River right behind the property! We secretly plan to stay here again, it was a great time

Excellent cabins on the Comal Springs. I’ve stayed here many times over the years. Petit Cowboy has renovated the property nicely. I will definitely be returning.
