The hallway was dirty and smelled bad, we found dead flies inside the bathroom tub. Outside the deteriorated property and they don't mow the lawn in other words a remodeling is needed

The only positive things I can say is that the location was convenient and the bed was comfortable. I would suggest people listen to all the bad reviews as they are spot on. The place is in need of a major renovation, deep cleaning and our room smelled like faint remnants of Marijuana. The pool had so much chlorine my eyes burned and my husband couldn't stop sneezing so we couldn't use or enjoy the pool at all. The air conditioner was loud every time it turned on it woke us up so we eventually had to turn it off then we were too hot and still couldn't sleep. The shower was gross with black in the caulking.

This hotel was disgraceful. It looked like a construction site on the exterior and the interior appeared to have been redone on a very low budget. There was no phone in the room and no hair dryer. The bathroom was extremely small and the mirror over the sink was ready to fall off the wall. The towels were small, thin and rough. Shame on Wyndham for adding their name to this property and allowing visitors to pay exorbitant fees for such a trashy hotel!

They're running this place into the ground with zero F's given. It's dirty, it's disgusting, moldy, smelly, broken, all the negative things other people have said. Room 229 had the most disgusting bathroom - moldy grout, shredded shower curtain, a broken/dirty bathtub with siding hanging off, a broken/dangling glass shelf that was unusable. There were two large holes into the wall abyss around the AC unit. The balcony door was rickety and on the verge of breaking. There was no handsoap for the two separate hand-washing sinks and the bathtub/shower. When I went to the front desk to ask for handsoap, the guy at the desk weirdly had some right there in front of him but would only give out one tiny bar - for the three places in the room that required soap. I then asked a housekeeper who said they had none and you had to use the little bottles of body wash. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign in the room and the front desk did not have one so we had to hand-make one. The ice machine on the second floor has been broken for years and not replaced. The hallway, carpet and stairs practically disintegrate from wear and tear under your feet. Everything is just dirty and uncared for, and the property manager defends it and slings insults. The entrance doors are supposed to require a key card but are often unlocked - on the flip side, we were locked out of our own room before 10:30 am on a 11:00 am checkout day. Beware. It's a cheap but gross option in Mystic. It's really gone downhill.

Bed mattress had worn area which one sunk into. Property not well maintained. I was very disappointed.

I should have read the reviews before I booked the room. No coffee maker, no hand soap, no towel racks. Tub was rusted.

The hotel is ideally located. Many activities, shopping & restaurants within walking distance. Free parking on site. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was clean. The hotel could use some updating. No hairdryer in room, bed was oddly lumpy. Overall, not bad for my 1 night stay.

Many years staying here. Beds are very comfortable, very clean rooms and excellent friendly staff. Excellent towels and no odd smells in the room. My niece loved the the very clean pool. The best place to stay in Mystic as it is near everything I like to do. They only thing I would like to add as I am now a very senior woman I would have liked a grab bar in the shower.

Paid for breakfast when booking but this hotel never offered a breakfast. Booked a king room but "king" was only a headboard. Dirty carpet in the hallway and stairs. Smell in the room.

The hotel is under renovation and so some noise was heard. The staff was very friendly and helpful

This place should just close - decrepit and filthy doesn't begin to describe - the front desk person was both rude and inefficient - though I will say the woman the next day much nicer - I can't even say it's poorly maintained, because that would suggest someone was doing something, even if ineffectively - but that's not the case here. My son and his fiance had to let in the housekeepers - they are apparently not given keys or appropriate access to the property - the photos are a complete lie - there was literally one light in our bedroom. The bed itself was reasonably comfortable - the only good thing I will say. It's also crazy expensive for what you're (not) getting. The only sign of Wyndham's involvement was their brand on the shower curtain, which was also ripping away from the hangers. Awful.

Toilet didn't flush, had to get fixed. No hand soap, had to use body wash and was a sample size. TV would turn on but couldn't move to anything with the remote, had to reset it. Did not have maids to clean room and make beds next morning. Only got one towel set per person and didn't refresh the towels. Requested towels but never got them - said they were too busy and alone. Low staff. Vending machines would not take cash, only credit and then charged $2.75 for using your card. Would not stay here again.
