The continental breakfast was actually pretty decent. The breakfast area looked clean, well-kept, and inviting. If I remember correctly, they offered a waffle maker, yogurt, oatmeal, mini muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. It was not an elaborate breakfast, but there was a decent variety of options. I also thought the atrium was interesting. I love live plants, so I appreciated the idea of having a large indoor green space as a focal point of the hotel. Of course, it is nothing remotely like the atriums you would find at a Gaylord property, but I would not expect it to be. For a smaller, "privately owned" or family managed hotel, I thought it was a unique and interesting feature. The enormous fiddle-leaf fig tree in particular is beautiful and gives the space a lot of character. I just wish the surrounding artificial turf and maintenance of the tree itself had been handled a little better because the atrium has the potential to be one of the hotel's best features. The location was great as well and parking was plentiful and free. The hotel has more of a small, privately owned, family-run feel than that of a traditional chain hotel. There are some things about the property that I genuinely liked. I thought the atrium was a nice concept, and the enormous fiddle-leaf fig tree is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the artificial turf surrounding the area takes away from what could otherwise be a really attractive space. The tree itself also appears difficult for the staff to maintain because there are dead leaves that have not been removed and many of the large leaves are visibly dusty and in need of cleaning. One of the biggest inconveniences for us was the elevator. The posted maximum occupancy is only two people. Since I was traveling with my spouse and child, simply getting to and from our room required us to make two separate elevator trips each time. The room itself was quite large, which I appreciated, but the layout felt awkward and did not make the best use of the space. I was also expecting two queen-size beds, but the beds were either double or full-size instead. Unfortunately, the condition and workmanship of the room were disappointing. It is very obvious that repairs have been made over time, but many of them do not appear to have been professionally finished. You can clearly see areas where the walls have been patched, paint colors that do not quite match, sections where some walls are textured while repaired areas are smooth, and some areas that are still in need of repair. The bathroom tile installation was noticeably uneven, with inconsistent spacing, cracked tiles, and heavy caulking in several areas. Some tiles were cracked, and the bathroom door did not appear to have been thoroughly wiped down in quite some time. Most frustrating was the shower drainage. The water did not drain properly, so even though I wore shower shoes, I still ended up standing in a pool of shower water.

I really liked the inside setup like garden style it don't feel like your walking into a building to stay in just a hotel room. The staff was great he was very helpful, polite, accommodating, he made me feel safe he told me where to park my car so I can see from my room window. He really went above and beyond I was a little upset I missed the breakfast cause I sleep in but I'll be back so it's ok I would definitely recommend there to stay.

Huge spider in room. TV didn’t work initially. Guest service agent didn’t offer me anything in terms of apology and trying to redress the situation. I don’t really expect anything to be done but I do want this to be recorded.

This hotel is in desperate need for an update. Fix the broken floors, tiles, clogged shower, etc. Fresh paint on worn out walls. It doesn't feel clean. Staff and check in was great.

The room was clean as well as the lobby and dining area. Downside was the lack of ventilation for the bathroom, there was none. I guess the humidity was cracking paint and drywall in the bathroom and the vinyl flooring was unsticking from the floor.

The trees inside. The parking lot, the small bathroom. I think the bathroom could've been cleaned better. My friends car was vandalized in the parking lot.

I chose to stay here because of the name. I trust Wyndam Hotels and their properties and booked a night for this area. I will sum up the experience by saying that at some time in the past, this was probably a nice place, but it was like a run down establishment that got a new coat of paint and some outdoor green carpet. The room did appear to be clean, but the air conditioner kept me up most of the night even though I put in ear plugs. The volume on the TV was set at a certain level, and I could not hear it very well, so watching tv was out of the question. I tried to get on the WiFi but could not, though the front desk clerk had told me the password. I tried to call the front desk, but the phones don't work anymore and when I went back to ask about it, no one was there. So... a rough night for me. In the morning, the breakfast room looked very nice, but I was in a hurry to leave, so I did not eat. When I got to my car and opened my door, it was filled with hundreds of red ants on the mat. I tried to kill as many as possible because these are the kind of ants that sting. I ended up taking the mat out and hitting it against the ground to try to get rid of as many as I could and then hoped that I could kill the rest with a napkin. Rough night turned into a rough morning...

The only reason I didn't give an overall "10" was due to the price. Maybe I'm out of touch, but over $90 a night should be reserved for top-line rooms/hotels. That said, my previous "hotel" was a disgusting dump I wouldn't want my dog staying at and it was over $60. The price was my only complaint. The room was clean and truly "smoke-free" so I have no complaints.

The location was perfect for going back and forth to AUM campus. The staff were accommodating and the room was very clean. The only complaint was the shower didn’t drain well. Also, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of coffee, yogurt, bagels, waffles and fruit.

Location was fine It was very run down in my opinion. I went to close the blinds in the room and the entire thing came off in my hands, it hit my face and shoulder. I immediately reported it to the staff downstairs and they moved us to a different room and said we wouldn’t be charged for the stay. I was charged for the stay and they mysteriously didn’t remember telling me anything about it…very frustrating!
