Los Gatos Garden Inn Hotel

The parking lot is small and tight. The room was clean, but a little bit dated. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous.

There was shampoo/conditioner/body wash but no hand soap but thankfully we had brought our own.

Location is main reason for staying there. We have stayed at the Garden Inn for many years. We felt it was always good value for the money. This is the first time we were disappointed. On checking in, we asked for two keys and told there was only one. The explanation was that people leave without turning in their key. In fact, there are two keys it's just some stranger has one to our room. To compound matters, My wife went out with the only key, I also went out. I returned earlier around 9:30 am expecting someone in the office could let me in. There was a sign that the front desk is not open until 11 am and I had to beg a cleaning person to let me in.

Okay overall. Hard to park. Had to ask for shampoo. Nice city and location.

I enjoyed the character and charm of the rooms and grounds. An excellent central location to explore Los Gatos on foot.

Parking is always a bit challenging particularly when other guests have massive trucks or large converted travel vans in spots that are barely big enough for a Toyota Corolla. The parking spots are extremely tight narrow and I'm always worried about hitting the wall or other vehicles when trying to park or exit the parking lot. Even with these minor inconveniences it's still my absolutely favorite place to stay when I'm in the area.

Great location. Walking distance to many fine restaurants. Great hiking trails leading up to Lexington Reservoir.

Location is top notch! Front desk guy was very nice, patio area was clean and so was the room. Just a little in need of repair Multiple people parked over the lines causing us to park our small sedan on the side of the road, the shower floor tile had a 2 fit long Crack and sunk, the ac did not work until we replaced the batteries, floor paneling was lifting. We messaged the staff but got no response.

For me, the location was perfect, very walkable. The room is dated, and the bed squeaked.

It was in a convenient location. And having a kitchen was very useful. The only issue is the parking is very small for my big truck.

I really like the location of this hotel. Its close to downtown. So you can just walk everywhere.

The grounds are charming. The location is perfect. The parking lot was a bit difficult to negotiate, but not impossible. The room was huge, with a nice kitchenette, and big bathroom. The bathroom lighting was the best I've ever had!

Neat and clean. Great location to downtown, several blocks away.

Clean rooms. Nice staff. Maybe could use some maintenance but nothing to worry about for guests.

Location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in Los Gatos It’s a bit tired. Needs a refresh. But clean with a friendly staff. Also lowest price in town which is why I return every time I’m in town

The staff was pleasant when I checked in but did not really go over all the amenities. All the different gates that you need to go through to get from one part of the property to another is kind of a nuisance . I think the office should open earlier in the morning so you could access coffee and breakfast, 9 o’clock during the week and 11 o’clock on Sunday is really just too late.
