Hotel H-Wood

I have travelled a lot in my life and truly enjoy staying in places of all stature. As some of the best places are small family owned hotels, however this is not one of those places. The pictures on the walls are halfway off the wall, the sheets had burn marks and stains all over them. They’re is no way to reach the front desk in the entire room. We weren’t given a do not disturb sign which okay fine whatever we proceeded with our day out on the walk of fame. When we came back our room hadn’t been cleaned but our towels had been taken from our room and not replaced. So they came into our room specifically to take the towels we had. Then as we were laying in bed we hear people outside the door, when my partner went to check it out. Both the people on the other side and us were confused as the front desk assigned them the room we were already staying in and booked for two nights. The stairs are uneven and smooth causing potential falls. All around this hotel isn’t habitable and no one should book it. There are not only better motel 6s in the world but you’d actually probably feel safer sleeping in your car then the quality of the rooms this place provides. The amount of disrespect to enter a guests room to take towels from them because the hotel had run out is crazy. This was the worst hotel I had ever stayed at. There’s crackheads that lounge throughout the parking lot and even the staircases. This hotel looks like it could be a section of skid row. There’s no upkeep. Avoid it

Great hotel! Will definitely stay there again!

The location is so convenient to be literally in the heart of Hollywood. Plus it’s a safe hotel and parking lot. Clean room and bathroom. No noise at all!

Check in person was defensive when asked about why they don't answer their phones as I was trying to alert property that I was checking in late. Secondly room has a ofepr that wouldnt disappear with even febreeze

Stay was ok, was given a room key to a room with someone still in it.

The staff was helpful. The room was clean as well. Its very close to the Hollywood Walk of fame off sunset boulevard. The parking isnt free but if going to the walk of fame that helps. The air conditioner works good and it should be cool enough. The pool was clean as well.

It's not bad here, but definitely won't come back because of one thing: I got a frightening email the day I had to check in claiming my card on file was invalid and that my reservation was going to be cancelled within an hour. I was literally at LAX on shuttles, then a cab trying to get over to this hotel. I responded with multiple messages, called the hotel dozens of times and nobody responded. My card was never invalid. I checked in at the hotel just fine. It was like the message never happened, but the hotel definitely wrote that in a message sent through Expedia. They need to get better at answering their phone. Guests might think this place is a scam, even though it's not. It's a decent place to stay if you're not picky. But it's got the same problems as any motel - loud area, screaming kids, etc. I don't personally care, but I know other people will make a bigger deal of that. My only complaint is the hotel's failure to answer their phone and communicate better with guests if they threaten to cancel a reservation and not even help the guest figure it out.

No towels didn’t feel safe lock would unlock when tapped

Room was great as was staff Only issue was there were some sketchy people hanging out outside but in the end they didn't bother anyone

This is the worse hotel ever. The Tv did and refrigerator did not work the first night at all there was no dresser or nightstands no closet it was very dirty even the towel that was supposed to to go on the floor when you get out of the shower was filthy and stained

The room had roaches, the toilet water dispenser was dripping water all night long and they charged $17 per vehicle. Not a good experience.

Close to tourist spots Untidy toiletries and linen, room’s unpleasant smell.

the room has bad smell. no shampoo, conditioner and we had to request for towels, and pillows, the refrigerator does not work and smells bad and the tv is too small screen.

Clean room more towels and 5 guest only 2 towels dirty please more clean
