Great last minute stay. I had traveled 2 days in a U-Haul across the country and was feeling defeated. Shasta at the front desk changed my whole day around with her kindness. She is a real gem! 💎

It needs revamping.

Elevator was not working, had to use service elevator. Got charged for a breakfast I did not have. No microwave in room or hallway
-
Property is very dated.
-
No breakfast which was disappointing to me

The property was in a good location it just had a old mildewy smell to it. Staff was accommodating.
-
The GOOD: The staff was very friendly and eager to please despite being burdened by an older facility needing maintenance. The gym had working treadmills and a decent dumbell weight set. The lobby was pleasant and spacious. Our bedroom was quiet and dark for sleeping.

elevators didnt work would not recommend

Paid extra for panoramic room. It is not worth it. There is a heat register all along the windows, so we could not get the room temperature below 74° in the middle of August. Furniture is old & worn out. Two drawers would not close. Bed comfort was just okay, a little on the firm side. Bathroom is very small & outdated. There is no fan, so it makes it worse. Hairdryer hardly blew out any air, took 3x as long to dry hair. Two of three elevator was out of order. Breakfast is not included & consisted of sausage, powdered scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, pancakes, cereal, bagels, fruit & pastries. It was average. Only 1 person worked the front desk most of the time. Lobby area was nice & big, but again stained & outdated furniture. The whole place needs major improvement. Stayed 2 nights due to a wedding at the Morton Arboretum.

Great job

The property was nice and the room was too. However, the showerhead was covered in mold and the shower had other people’s hair and blood in the tub and on the walls.

Clean room, excellent staff.

- during the night, in room 201, I heard random loud pops / bangs coming from the interior of the building. could have been AC turning on / off or the building just settling, but they were extremely loud and woke me up multiple times - TVs desperately need an upgrade. these feel like TVs from 2007 and there wasn't even an option to use a streaming service, just scrolling channels like from the dark ages.

I will start by saying check in was easy but it started getting rough after that. 2 out of 3 elevators were out, got to our room and it was not clean. Hair in the shower, hair on the bathroom floor, hair on the cover, and when I pulled the sofa bed out there were mice droppings on the mattress. They did give me another room which I will say was better. Beer cans in the hallway, weed smell in the hallway and elevator, old glasses from the bar on the tables and hallway. For this type of location and the outward appearance of the hotel along with the name I was not expecting this. The beds are extremely small. The fire alarm triggered the fire department to come out some my wife who is on a walker we had to go downstairs from the 11th floor. All of this really happened.

Upon my arrival check in was smooth and the Clerk Kevin was very professional and Helpful. Two of the Three elevators were unavailable as they were out of service under going maintenance. For my 2 night stay I spend 65 minutes in total waiting on the elevator. As I arrived to my room there were two pals of dirty towels on the floor right in front of my room door. As I entered the room the smell hit me. The room smell wet and it was very damp!!! The hotel was sold out so they could not place me in another room. I had to travel to Walmart to get Candles and Spray. The room had paint pilling in multiple area of the room. I had the King Pamiramic room the same one I had seven years ago and it was absolutely amazing. The room was very Dusty as well. This stay was not a good experience for me. I was very disappointed!!!!!
