Comfort Suites Bush Intercontinental Airport

The breakfast had the usual grain products, but also included hash browns and sausage as well as yogurt (although not plain). The room is nice and it is very spacious.

We had a last minute stay because our flight had delayed 40 hours so we had to find a hotel near by. I did like that it was really close to the airport, but it does need some extra cleaning or remodeling. Maybe removing the carpet because it smelled a little old. There was also something on our bed. Looked like a spider. I'm not sure if it was my frustration of being delayed for so long that made it a bad stay. I was finding everything annoying.

Staff were great and room seemed to be cleaned up until there were roaches in them! First room the lock latch was off the hinges so immediately got put in another room. That room had roaches and I kept room cleaned and had to ask to be cleaned as well due to me booking a 5 night stay. Once I seen it was roaches got in a new room which seemed to be cleaned only for me to walk around in that room and see a small roach in the tub she checked out early and got my money back! Never going back there because kids and I never had roaches back home and wasn’t going to go through that at a hotel stay!!

I felt it offered great value for the price.

The convenience of were it is located by the airport however, a lot of the items in the room looked kind of old and antiquated compared to other hotels like the Sheraton or the Hilton DNA

Breakfast was great. The room was filled with bugs, the bed sheets and blankets had ticks on them. I found cockroaches crawling in the bathroom and on the walls. The pillow cases were extremely dirty, had brown stains (looked like mud maybe).

The staff was helpful and friendly, our room was very large, everything was clean and comfortable. Very close to the airport. We reserved a crib and it wasn't in the room when we got there. Not a big deal though bc the clerk went and found one for us.

It’s just the night before I told the front desk person. I’m leaving at 7 AM for The. airport but that 7 AM shadow leaves at 6:50 and I got down at 6:50. The van was just leaving. The driver later they leaves 10 min early

Kind staff

I highly recommend this hotel. Hotel was maintained well and the shuttle drivers were very informative and prompt. The only thing that would be nice is that there be a little more of a selection for the breakfast, maybe some danish, bagels or fruit.

When we arrived we scheduled the 6am airport shuttle for departure 3 days later. On the morning of the shuttle it wasn't booked. The staff (different from checkin) that morning told us it can only be booked 24 hrs beforehand. We were left scrambling at 5:45am

Great hotel for one day night stay to catch a flight. I gave 4 stars just b/c the property is old. It would be nice to see them upgrade the carpet due to the semi musty smell. Staf and shuttle were great!!

The free shuttle was a short drive to the airport. Airplane noise was only occasionally obnoxiously loud, mostly drowned out by the louder room AC. We were able to walk to a restaurant for dinner. To start, we waited about 30 minutes for the free shuttle. One van came by with "Comfort Suites" on the side sooner, but due to some miscommunication between the hotel and the driver, they would not take us. After calling Comfort Suites again, they sent a second van. Next, we had requested a crib for our 2-yr-old when booking through booking.com, but Comfort Suites had no record of that. Fortunately, their one crib was available. After the hotel clerk brought it to our room, I had to request sheets for it. Check-in felt very slow, taking at least 15 minutes. The room had a musty smell and stained furniture. The A/C was effective but loud in the intermittent way that woke me up multiple times in the middle of the night. The morning shuttle to the airport came 15 minutes early and would not wait for us. It's fine if they won't wait, but then call it a 6:45 shuttle instead of calling it a 7:00 shuttle and telling us to be ready early. I didn't think I was booking the basement bargain hotel experience based on the price paid, but that's what I got.

Rooms

Breakfast was amazing !!!

The room was very large and had a large sofa. The main problem is the jets landing and taking off all night. The hotel is near the North/South runway which is used for larger aircraft making international flights. More weight, more fuel and people, larger planes and engines.

Friendly staff, clean room, good variety at continental breakfast.
