Great location and on site breakfast buffet is so convenient and great variety!
-
Great customer all around from the valet, front desk to the housekeeping they were all professional and friendly.
-
Pulled up to valet no greeting. Had about 5 guys just talking story. Opened my trunk was getting 4 suitcases out still no help at all. Maybe they help only tourists. So i had to park my own car and pull 4 suitcases to check by myself.
-
Decent rooms. Long wait times for most things: valet, elevators, etc. Amenities okay

Close to the mall

The Pint and Jigger is a good place to hangout. Rooms were 4 star and there's a shopping mall which is 5 star bring your money. The weekend we had stayed it was impossible to check in due to a Big event "made in Hawaii" at the convention center and traffic and parking made it impossible to get to the hotel. That being said, the hotel itself is a solid mid-tier stay. Rooms were nice (obvi recent reno), but the bedding was meh. Blankets were thin and worn.

Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit slippery, and the hair dryer in our room blew only cold air. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Have stayed here more than a few times with family and am never disappointed. Excellent customer service and accommodations!
-
Great location, close to the beach, Waikiki, and shopping. This place would have been better if they had magnifying mirrors to put on makeup. Really need magnifying mirror to apply makeup.
-
The salt water pool and the gym are excellent. Also - happy hour at the Signature Restaurant is a great value, oustanding bartender, food, and a piano man! Pint & Jiggers is also great meal, drinks and service. Parking on the weekend is awful.

I absolutely love staying here but on this trip I found bed bugs going through my stuff while I was packing to leave. Some of them fell out of my hair while I was waiting for my Lyft in the lobby. I’m concerned about bringing in luggage to my apartment building. Anyway, the places is great I just really Hope I don’t cause an infestation in my apartment building. It’s actually really concerning me

Another awesome stay for us!! Breakfast buffet was great, valet and check in was fabulous 👌. Even though lots of things were going on and the hotel was full, everyone we encountered was were so nice and very Aloha spirited, as usual locals are!! We will stay here again for sure!!

Staff were very helpful. Location was great.

Their partial ocean view is a sliver of a view of a harbor in the distance after your beautiful view of the top of a building and a raised parking lot . Check in took 40 minutes with 2 attendants glued to their computers screens and afraid to look toward the growing line of guests. Why can't they keep the breakfast restaurant open for lunch? Why can't you order off a menu, not simply a $35 breakfast buffet? Dinner restaurants and bars are nice but again ridiculously expensive for a not-on-the-beach hotel.

The elevators were a disaster. They came infrequently and were always full at one point there were 30 people in line to go upstairs. Trying to check out waited for 6 to come only to find they are all full. Gym is great. Check in slow

We stayed at the Ala Moana hotel/condo after hurricane Lala since the power was out for a few days and we had visitors staying with us. Although the hotel was also on back up generator power on/off, the stay overall was excellent. The hotel was updated and clean with all the amenities needed and the location was next to the shopping center. However, what made the stay memorable was the aloha spirit of the hotel staff. Everyone went out of their way to welcome us with a smile despite the weather and how hectic and busy it was. A section of the carpet in our room was wet from the hurricane and the hotel offered to move us but we were too tired. Special thank you to a few of the staff; Ruby of housekeeping, Kalani at the front desk, and Miller who dried the carpet. You really made our stay relaxing during a very stressful time. Thank you for taking care of us for a few days and treating us like family.
