Ala Moana Hotel by LSI Resorts

You are not booking with the hotel this is run like an air b n b . No house keeping . All extras go through managment in the app. Very annoying. The room was dirty when we arrived sheets and and coffee pot were dirty. I contacted managment and they said housekeeping would come. We waited for hours the next day no one came so we left. When we got back there were clean sheets a new coffee pot and lots of extra towels and toiletries. Normally you have to pay for extra towels and toiletries. $75 fee. We were happy they made things right but you must be aware unlike i was that you are NOT booking with the hotel. The hotel is amazing and worth the extra money to book with because you can get help right away. With LSI its hard to get in contact especially on the weekend. So if you are just looking for a better rate but less service then this is fine for you but if you are expecting a hotel this is not for you. Just know this before you book because we did not. The soap dish was also falling off the wall in the shower on rusty screws. I suspect these units are not really well cared for. The customer service was good once we got in contact but i was still disappointed that we wasted hours in hawaii waiting for housekeeping and found the room dirty to begin with. Again just know before you go.

While the location was mid the amenities were nice enjoyed all of the options the hotel had there was no ac in the elevator to the parking garage, roaches were seen in my room! Not able to get extra toilet paper or new sheets without charges. The power also went out for hours and we had to use the stairs.

Their breakfast was superb and so delicious my wife and I loved it.

i like the restaurant in the very top floor.

Bathroom sink is croged．cofee cream is so old like plastic. AC can not chenge tempreature.Cockroach in the room

Com. I was very disapponted.

The listing also mentioned a $100 per night deposit, which made it seem like the higher total included a refundable deposit. I even contacted the hotel operator beforehand and was told that deposit policy actually applies only to their Las Vegas property. When I contacted Expedia support, the representative reassured me that the deposit would be refunded after checkout. After booking, I later learned that the deposit is actually paid at the property, meaning the large total on Expedia was mostly made up of taxes and service fees rather than the deposit described in the listing. This created a lot of confusion and made the pricing feel misleading. To be fair, the location of the hotel is very good, especially if you want to be near Ala Moana Center and not directly in the busiest part of Waikiki. The room itself was simple but acceptable for a short stay. Overall, my experience would have been much better if the pricing and deposit information were clearly explained upfront. Travelers should pay close attention to the total price and fees before booking.

Privately owned unit. No housekeeping but we didn’t need it anyway. We brought a couple trash bags and there was plenty of towels available. Ala Moana shopping mall 5 min walking distance and had so many places to eat. So So So Happy with everything. Mahalo 🌺🌴❤️🌺🌴❤️

Room not part of hotel, Checked in @ 4pm, room had not been cleaned prior to guests before me. No towels, no service, no help, was in town for business and greatly impacted my trip.

Yeah we were 20 minutes if there before 3:00 and they made us wait 20 minutes to check in the room was in an alley were some crazy lady screamed every other night and woke us up the garbage truck was banging at 5:00 in the morning do not book a room here...

AC Thermostat didn't work and the toilet kept running so we couldn't sleep. This room (1310) shouldn't be rented. How do we request a refund?

Flew in for a day to attend a funeral of a friend. Ala Moana hotel has 2 sections, the hotel rooms & the Airbnb (privately owned rooms). I stayed in the Airbnb privately owned rooms. Used valet to park my rental & the staff was super nice & friendly. It was centralized & super close to the mall. Convenient to walk over to the mall & grab a bite & shop a bit. Ala Moana beach park is of walking distance but don’t lug too much stuff with you. It’s good to have a good walking exercise there. Front desk staff was friendly & nice. The bathroom in the unit is a little dated & needs to be updated & changed. This is my 2nd time staying here in the Airbnb rooms & I’m satisfied with it especially if it’s a quick trip.

Beautifully decorated room. Clean. Comfortable bed. Perfect area. Love staying here every time we visit Oahu.
