Hotel is outdated, needs renovations badly. Area close to hotel is dead, no activities, no shopping, no restaurants.

Staff was really friendly. There is also a circuit that will take you around the hotel area for $2 and the guy who drove us was really nice and friendly as well. He also waited for us to get out of the store and took us back to the hotel. The hotel can also schedule tours and activities around Fort Lauderdale.

It was clean! I came during the weekend and I thought the front desk was a bit rude. Other than that, I had a good time. I wish there were more options to get water and vending machine stuff.

Got assigned the wrong room, valet staff was very rude, construction on both sides of the hotel were going on and our view was of a dirty alley way

The hotel and rooms have a very old, outdated feel. My room was set to 60°F when I arrived and was freezing. After adjusting it to 70°, I noticed water all over the floor and even on the wall throughout the night. I initially thought it was the AC, but the issue continued. I also spoke with another guest who said she experienced the same issue. There was also a noticeable mold/musty smell. The pool area and Tiki Bar are also outdated. At the Tiki Bar, I was charged $5 gratuity on a $20 food order (25%) without it being clearly communicated beforehand. The chicken tenders and fries I ordered were extremely disappointing—I couldn’t even eat the chicken. The EV charger was another issue. I asked the valet, front desk, and another employee about charging my Tesla and was told it was free. I plugged in, and it took about 8 hours to reach 80%. At checkout, I was charged $30. After explaining the situation and going back and forth, they refunded it, which I appreciated. However, the communication was very poor. Overall, the friendly staff was a plus, but the outdated property, room issues, food, unexpected charges, and poor communication were too much. I would not stay here again.

Despite paying for breakfast, we were told we could only choose from three specific items on the menu. My children wanted chocolate chip pancakes, which actually cost less than the breakfast items they were permitted to order. Even more frustrating, one morning my husband and I went downstairs before our children were awake and simply wanted two cups of coffee. The two employees working in the restaurant took our breakfast vouchers in exchange for two cups of coffee. They told us that if we came back “soon enough,” they would still honor the vouchers for breakfast. Why should two cups of coffee use up breakfast vouchers that we had already paid for? I’m not sure whether these restrictions are the hotel’s policy or the restaurant’s policy, but either way, the entire setup felt unnecessarily rigid and certainly not reflective of the price we paid. For what this hotel costs, I expected much better service and more reasonable accommodations for families. I would not pay for the breakfast package again, and based on the overall value and service, I would have a hard time justifying spending this kind of money to stay here again. Definitely not worth the price tag.
