The room was nice and clean and the location was convenient.
-
John was very personable and made us feel welcome. I felt relaxed and calm throughout my stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful. In particular, the bartender Ivan was amazing. It is not the nicest Hilton. I’ve been in by a longshot, but the location was great. It was difficult getting in and out because the front revolving door was broken. Got to our room and had no coffee for the morning just tea and decaf so we had to ask for that, had a lid for an ice bucket, but no actual bucket, the shower curtain was ripped and had been pinned back together, so in general, that place is not maintained very well we weren’t in the hotel very much so it sufficed for the location, but it’s far from the nicest Hilton as I started out with

Room was not as clean as they usually are. The faucet in the bathroom was broken

Excellent location!

The hotel staff was great with suggestions where to eat and things to see while staying there.
-
Room cleaning and readiness were so bad that we won't stay here again.
-
Staff was helpful and room was comfortable.

Pool and hottub will never be used too small of an area. You have to pay for their Buffett breakfast. Beds are NOT comfortable, after walking all day in Chicago you at least want a good bed but now my back hurts as well.

Good location There was a mixup in cleaning our room and it never happened and there was also a mixup with our parking pass.

staff was helpful. Everyone was friendly. The property is well maintained. There was a music festival as well as a big storm going on while we were there. I think that is why our bathroom sink would not drain. Our Uber driver explained that there are 5-10 concert goers packing in one room and it messes with the draining in the hotels/businesses.

Anyway, now the hotel itself, which is very outdated. It was clean, but pretty outdated. The actual worst thing was the lighting in the room. It was dark and the lightbulbs that they had were like those cold white lightbulbs so when you turned it on, it was like you were in a hospital room. It just made the whole atmosphere worse.

There were 4 people working at the check-in, but they were more interested in talking with each other than assisting guests. At checkout, there was only 1 person working. I asked for a receipt and was told it would be emailed to me, I have not received it 48 hours later.

Great staff everyone was helpful

The front desk staff was extremely nice and customer focused - but it ended there. The hotel is not well maintained, the shower in our room had a noticeable dip in the floor making it a dangerous event to shower, the sink faucet was loose so water continued to seep across the countertop, and it had the distinct smell of a nursing home. Beyond that the housekeepers clogged the halls with carts and huge bags of garbage and would have loud conversations, on speaker, outside your room door in the early morning. The breakfast was a ridiculously bad experience and had we not just wanted to leave, we would’ve insisted it be comped. This hotel had great reviews and is a Hilton so we decided to pay the $500 PER NIGHT price tag expecting it would deliver the service and comfort to justify that cost. Needless to say we will not be returning.
