We reserved a king room with a pull-out couch for 2 adults and an 11-year-old. The pull-out had no bedding and there were no extra sheets, blankets or pillows. We called the front desk, waited 40 minutes, then called again. We were told there were no extra pillows in the entire hotel and eventually received one scratchy blanket, but no sheets. We made it work for the night. The next morning, housekeeping said our room wasn't even on their list, but the housekeeper we met in the hallway was very helpful and gave us towels and all the bedding we needed. The room had a poorly repaired old leak and chipping ceiling paint, and the vestibule leading outside appeared to have black mold on the ceiling. The pool was decent & gym was great. This wasn't a terrible hotel, but the overall experience was disappointing, especially not being able to get basic bedding for a child listed on the reservation. Combined with the room condition and what we were told at check-in, it left us feeling like third-party guests receive lesser rooms/service. If that's the case, they shouldn't offer rooms.

Property needs a facelift very dated. Staff was friendly and helpful.

no cleaning

The lady at the front desk who checked me was wonderful and polite and she gave me a fresh warm cookie. Thank you girl I needed that after a long day. She was welcoming and inquired about my day. Pretty black woman I forgot her name but she’s a gem.

Very nice hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Individual reservation both times. The clerk on the 1st night was very professional and courteous. The 2nd night, not so much. But no big deal, I just needed a room key. The fitness room has a utility room that had an annoying whining sound. I didn't have my ear buds so it became a bit much. Very basic weights, but you can make it work. Planet Fitness almost next door if you have that membership. Had the usual cardio machines. Rooms were good. Bed was comfortable, but I'm not picky. I could smell that someone was smoking, but most hotels don't really take control of that, so it is what it is. Over all, very nice hotel, safe location, a Wendy's right by hotel if you want to grab something cheaper to eat than hotels restaurant.

I get treated bad from the housekeeper in the hotel. She wake me up 8 o’clock in the morning. Tell me you have to leave now. We have to clean the room and she start Ola‘s name. You could check with Doubletree. I gotta claim there.

The hotel was dirty. The room was nasty a hole in the door when. The couch was nasty. The room had a bad smell. Im pretty sure I saw a bug in the bed. I checked out immediately and they will not process my refund!

The bed was so comfy....I slept like a CHAMP

Room was humid and ac did not work properly, asked for someone to check it but was never told if maintenance ever did. During the 5-6 day stay, housekeeping was requested nearly everyday and only came twice, the second time they didn’t make the bed or clean like we requested. Only left towels. I’m really disappointed, considering I paid for a Hilton stay and the service was not up to the brand name. This location was really not the best and I can’t comfortably recommend it considering its price, and it being advertised as a Hilton hotel.

Couldn’t get any of the pop machines to work on all 6 floors, mentioned it to an employee and they said “okay……………”, called for room service but couldn’t get help. I thought the Breakfast buffet would be better quality since it’s an actual restaurant but it’s the cheap flavorless powdered eggs. Pool chemicals were so strong my son’s eyes burned after swimming. Rooms seemed clean at first but my child found plenty of garbage under his bed and when you closed the bathroom door there was dust and hair

Stayed in a dble bed room from 8/12-8/15 the smell of the room was musty, but neatly clean. The bthrm shower head needs to be fixed it leaked water spourted all on the wall once readjust directly into the tub. Didn't report it on a short stay. Breakfast was decent but pricey for 2 pple it was $53 I was like wow!!! went to Coney Island it only $7.49 which wasn't bad, the staff was very pleasant & helpful. But I will say overview your check out billing before leaving. There were some issues with triple billing get it corrected on the spot especially if your a early check out. One last thing the pool bottom looked dirty I didn't do that one, overall it was decent stay.

Clean, kind staff, fresh cookie, shower felt nice, roomy bathroom and tv was good. Pool, parking everything easy. I just wish the staff had given us a heads up about the side doors available closer to our room as opposed to walking from lobby! But wonderful

Very good

The lobby was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious. But the tub was slippery. My 51 year old husband stepped in the shower and slipped. And he was the first one to use the shower. Luckily no broken bones or sprains or I would have complained or possibly sued.

We stayed here 2 nights. The hotel was full & two reunions were going on. The first night check-in was fine but when we got to our room it was very cold. The TV was on with a welcome screen. We tried to turn the TV off using the remote & couldn’t. We tried going to Live TV, Netflix, looking in settings, looking for a power button on the actual TV…nothing worked. We also tried to turn off the air but the unit had a sign directing us to use the thermostat on the wall. That thermostat was dead & did not work. We called the front desk twice & let it ring 15-20 times, no answer. Finally we set the sleep timer on the TV to 30 min & turned the sound off. I got up a couple hours later & yanked the little door open on the AC unit & manually used the controls to turn it off. Bed was ok. Bathroom looked like it needs a re-do. The carpet was dirty & turned my feet black & the armchair had stains. We returned after an outing to stay the second night & no one had picked up our towels or left new ones. We tried calling the desk & it took multiple times again but were finally told someone would bring towels. After an hour we went down to the desk & got them. The desk clerk said “we have a lot of people staying here right now.” My main issue is I found this to be a poor Hilton Doubletree experience & Way over-priced for what we got. Do not recommend
