Very polite and clean!

Don’t let the beautiful lobby fool you. Once you get to the room, it’s a completely different experience. The hotel looks elegant and upscale from the outside and in the common areas, but the room felt like a cheap motel. The carpet was absolutely filthy, and nothing about the room felt comfortable, clean, or inviting. It was worn, depressing, and honestly not what I expected after paying what I paid for this hotel. The pictures and appearance of the hotel are VERY misleading compared to the actual condition of the room. Then came the parking nightmare. I PREPAID FOR PARKING THROUGH EXPEDIA when I booked the hotel. So imagine my surprise when I arrived and was told I STILL had to pay for self-parking. And the self-parking lot is about a 7-minute walk from the hotel. I tried calling the front desk to get an explanation because I had already paid for parking. TWO different front desk employees literally hung up on me while I was trying to speak to them. Apparently, they can validate your parking to get you half off. But seriously, WHAT IS THE POINT OF PREPAYING FOR PARKING if you’re still expected to pay again every time you park? That makes absolutely no sense. They also offer valet parking for about $76, but after the way I was treated, there was NO WAY I was giving this hotel another $76. I stayed Friday and Saturday night and couldn’t wait to leave! All looks, no substance.

The hotel is very misleading with the pictures they post. The rooms was a bit gross. Very outdated and doesn’t look like they deep clean the rooms at all. The bathrooms are outdated and water gets everywhere from the shower set up. I paid for valet parking yet had to park the car myself 2 blocks away and still had to pay the parking garage money to park there. I was so confused as to why I ended up having to pay double for parking. By the time the garage charged me I had checked out of the hotel. I was also very annoyed with the fact that the day of check out the booking clearly stated check out was at 12pm I had the staff knocking at my door at 9am asking what time I was checking out at. I felt rushed to get out of the room. Over all the stays was okay it was nice being right by the river walk but the parking situation really rubbed me the wrong way.

The room and the staff was nice. The tv was a problem though showed all the channels on the guide but some channels didn’t work

When I spoke with another agent they said if possible we can accommodate you early check in no fee which is why I booked for Saturday instead of Friday since I would land early morning, just very disappointed in the whole experience it was my nephews first time out there too, also the rooms need major update beds are small, some cracks on the wall only good thing is it’s close to spots we wanted to see and visit other than that not worth it.

Clean room, security was good there, laundry room was convenient. Everything is in walking distance

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful it was so easy to get all over the city. The room was small but I was only in there to sleep so perfect size

Room was very clean and perfect for my needs. Check in and check out was so convenient and the staff was helpful when I needed to ask a question. The manager was so lovely and friendly, and the staff who assisted me at check in greeted me right away and was so personable, I believe his name was Pedro. Had an excellent experience overall and the location was very central to the things I wanted to do in the downtown area!

My room doesn’t have a little refrigerator. And how I use Cpap there aren’t enough power outlets to plug in it.

Loved staying at this place. I was on the sixth floor, and loved watching the river boats while I was in the room. The staff were so sweet, and amazingly helpful. Will be going back.

Location Older hotel...amenities not A rated

We stayed here for a concert and it was a great choice. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially Jock, and we really appreciated the water stations with free foldable water bottles. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower head is adjustable to a wide range of heights.

Don’t recommend this hotel
