Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea

The beds didn’t give me a backache. The staff was very polite. Plenty of parking.

The reservation was made through Expedia.com. When checking-in at the Hotel's regular check-in time, the staff would not want to check me in stating my room was not ready without an expected time of availability and said wait was the only option. I waited for another 45 minutes while the staff continued checking in the rest of the customers waiting in line without any problem. Eventually, I had a chance to speak to the staff's superior, and I thought he is the one to soothe the situation and help me with a peaceful stay. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The guy behaved erratically and threatened to refuse my prepaid reservation. I am glad that I did not fall into argumentation with this superior of the front desk staff who checked me in peacefully and restored my faith in Expedia.com

Nice quiet location but convenient and close to restaurants and grocery shopping. Always a pleasant experience.

Location to everything we wanted to do was perfect Welcome sign at bottom of entrance broken so we didn't know where turn in.

The location of the place was really nice and close to everything we needed. We will stay there again

I liked just about everything about Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea. I suppose the flat screen could have been a bit larger. Other than that, my brother and I had a wonderful experience at Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea The flat screen could have been bigger. I feel the room could adequately accommodate a larger flat screen. That would be my one and only complaint.

Easy check-in, nice front desk woman. Room was adequately sized, and reasonably quiet. Toilet was slow-leaking when we entered the room (stream of water from the back of the toilet along the floor to the front). Front desk had someone come immediately, but they didn't fix it exactly. Towels were adequate to stem the leak.

Nice location and pretty outside landscaping but honestly not great. Pictures were misleading. Our phones had no service in the room even while connected to the hotel WiFi and was making it so Netflix on the TV wouldn’t work, the room smelled musty and there was a damp sunken in part of the floor and the toilet was having problems flushing.

The lady at the front was delightful. I felt safe. I didn’t care for the pillows. They were too hard for me. I would come back but just bring my own.

The location, the room, everything! Nothing

It was a great location for downtown Capitola. My brother got married at the Shadowbrook. Highly recommend going there even if you’re not getting married great bar outstanding food.

The staff is very helpful and very friendly. The room was clean, and it was quiet. It's located in a very convenient location which is a short walk to Capitola Village and the freeway is just a block away.
