We had the shared bathroom option. The bathrooms had been freshly cleaned every time I went to use them didn’t even realise they were being shared. Would recommend to anyone wanting an affordable place to stay!

It was kept very clean throughout our stay.

Clean and beautiful

Giving 4 out of 5 for two things: 1) did not enjoy the curtain that separates the shower from the toilet in my private room and 2) a little further out from main areas that you'd have to walk more vs. taking public transportation (also depending where you're coming from). Consider an extra 5 minutes to the main parts of Boston when visiting but honestly, not a bad walk. General building was nice and tidy, staff was prompt and nice. A little coffee shop also accessible inside of the hotel lobby.

This is my first time in Boston and I just needed to spend one night here and my flight was delayed and I was so tied. The staff was so friendly checked me in quickly and it was so nice to come into a clean room. The room is perfect for one or two people max so if you are looking to travel with your family I’d recommend maybe looking into getting two rooms. The coffee shop they have in there is also good. I got their matcha and it was phenomenal. They also held onto my bag while I was out exploring the city. 10/10 stay if I’m ever back in Boston I will definitely be staying here again!

Friendly staff and clean space/rooms.

So if you have to make a booking, make certain you have booked an ensuite room.

Lovely quirky hotel in a nice area of Back Bay. Fast efficient check in, cheery staff, and great facilities. The hotel was very clean throughout and staff were always tidying areas. I was slightly sceptical about having the toilets and showers apart from the rooms but it worked surprisingly well. A lovely stay at the Revolution Hotel. Would go back in a heartbeat.
-
Nice decor but everything is old and poor quality. It’s a very expensive fancy hostel.
-
Excellent stay, staff and location!!!
-
This was a pleasant hotel and good location. I wish they’d put toilets separate from showers though.
-
No parking, the room wasn’t to clean, the bed sheets wasn’t clean. The bathroom wasn’t to clean and the bed and pillows so hard
-
The decor was unique and attractive. Coffee shop was good. Room and public washrooms were immaculate. Bed was a little difficult for us two seniors as there was no room to walk around the sides of the bed. However, our sleep was good.

Loved the industrial- and American revolution decor.

Very clean, great staff!

I made a clear mistake trying to get a room in the middle of the night at 11:55 PM but they tell me I can’t get into my room until 10 in the morning so I tried to go back in the app to fix the date so I can get the hotel at night and they did not refund my money, but told me they are going to refund my money horrible experience for me when I live in Newport News, Virginia and was in Boston on vacation
