The only thing to keep in mind is that the main entrance is not accessible, so if you have a stroller, wheelchair, or luggage that makes stairs difficult, you’ll need to use the side entrance. It wasn’t a problem for us at all, but it’s useful to know in advance. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay here again!

Room had no full length mirror, no closeup mirror, and lighting was dark. Fitness center had no room for mat work. Otherwise we were very comfortable. Location was terrific for our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had.
-
The staff were very helpful and congenial. The hotel is well-located to Newbury Street, Copley Square, the Boston Public Garden the theater district.

Great

Great location, clean hotel, and friendly staff. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. My only complaint is the parking fee—it’s quite expensive, especially considering you’re already paying to stay at the hotel. Overall, though, we had a pleasant stay.

This is a fairly new renovation of an existing building. The common areas felt a little bit sterile and the lighting design could be better. Feel like the Barre and Restaurant are overpriced generally, especially when you look at the various options in the back bay. You’re only about three blocks from Newberry Street, and two blocks from Boylston and those areas give you plenty of opportunity. It’s very convenient to the Boston Common and public garden and overall a really good location.

The Valet staff were wonderful

Everything was good about this hotel. I enjoyed the location and the staff was helpful (getting us waters, a late checkout, etc). Gym was very small. Didn’t try the restaurant so not sure how it was but the patio looked nice. The soap and shampoo in the rooms reached of cheap perfume, they really need to upgrade. Overall, pricey for what you get but that is Boston.

Very clean and the staff were very friendly. We parked off premises bec parking would have been $75/day. We got parking a block away for $68 for two days. We’d go back. Very nice.

We had a terrific stay with our two dogs! The hotel is very pet friendly, and the staff are very helpful as well. The lobby area and sitting areas are welcoming, and our room felt nice and clean. We got a great sleep after walking around Boston all day. We would definitely return!

The property and staff were really nice. Located near most central things in Boston. The room was rather lackluster and AC took forever to cooldown the room.

My husband and I visited Boston for our 13 year anniversary and by chance I miss the hotel to see if they could do something nice for us in our room prior to arrival. They surprised us with a beautiful dessert and a card customized. Wishing us a happy anniversary. This was the sweetest gesture from any hotel we’ve ever stayed at! The hotel was amazing. The view was impeccable. Would highly recommend Hotel aka. to anyone.!!
